All of their games are basically just remakes. I love my Wii U and Nintendo games, but the last revolutionary game they made in their regular series was Mario 64. Actually it was pretty lack-luster. I enjoyed the Wii version, but the motion controls were tacked on and the levels while great, weren't the sort of thing you'd want to repeat once you finished them. Much like in the SNES era, DKC is a poor substitute for Mario.

This is why I dont own Nintendo consoles anymore. Why Nintendo will spend a coin in games like Metroid if they earn millions with oldschool platformers thanks to their fanbase. Its logical... but sucks

You can't tell me that, along with the rest of VGX, wasn't disappointing. You had to have been expecting more. They could have told us about that in an online press release with no pictures. That's how insignificant that announcement was.

It looks too similar to DK Country. It looks like a high res version of it. Besides Wonderful which was ridiculously difficult, there hasn't been anything new on the Wii U.
