As an inventor and entrepreneur who holds eleven patents I can honestly say that I would be more comfortable without any patent system than the one that exists right now. Your ability to defend your IP is limited to your ability to enforce it, which for most small inventors is very limited.

My bike weighs half that and I don't think I could make it through that course in twice the time.

All they did was combine the Geico gecko concept with the Pets.com puppet idea. Seriously weak ad effort on Car Fax's part.

I didn't know that, pretty cool. Thanks for the info.

The only thing those two comics have in common is that they are both about Google+ and FaceBook.

25% of the drivers I see at any given time are on the phone, texting or plugging away on a GPS. That makes the above statistics a little less impressive. Correlation does not equal causation and these safety groups are doing their causes more harm than good throwing around meaningless stats.

Interesting. I win the lottery 100% of the time.

They use 'em to drop the thing out of orbit.

You see what happened there? He french fried when he should have pizza'd. If you french fry when you should pizza, you're gonna have a bad time.

Thanks for replying Ray, don't get me wrong I'm not upset so much as concerned, for selfish reasons -

$5.70/gal?!? $57 in gas/hr + $120/hr for the plane, that makes taking cross country trips really unappealing.

I love you Jalop, but so much about this post is just not okay.

$3.50 aint bad for 100LL, thats what I remember paying back in college when pump gas was sub $2/gal.

I thought I knew what was going on here, then I read the comments, now I'm not really sure I even actually know where I am right now. Whose house is this? Where are my pants?

The mistake would be understandable.

That's a good point too, the manual transmission is a book that's already been written, there's not too many revolutionary designs that QC has to contend with. This isn't a case of a manufacturer band-aiding some new tech, something probably went seriously wrong at the production level if this problem is as widespread

I'm not saying this to defend Ford or anything, I would be mad as hell if I had a Mustang with a bad transmission. But its important to understand why companies behave like this, I call it the "Cycle of Punishment".

While they have a love for the Camaro they are far from biased. When the new Camaro first came out there were a bunch of people blowing up transmissions on them and Jalop also ran a story about that. Though GM did apparently a better job of handling it and/or it was not as wide spread.

Okay, fine. I admit it - that was pretty damn cool.

That makes me stabby for some reason.
