Apparently, Liberty Mutual does cover HPDE’s. Its the only major insurer that I’ve found that does and who’s reps will give a thumbs up to track days.
Welp. You managed to make it worse. I’ll never unsee the Civic ZR1.
I’m a die hard manual fan and I’m fine with this. They gave us a GT3 with a manual and aero delete option. Anyone that needs to go faster than a GT3 needs a PDK for those lap times.
I’m sure the ZR1 is going to be a track monster, but the styling is just garish (and not in a good Lamborghini Elemento kind of way). It is possible to do silly aggressive aero without it looking like some aftermarket menagerie, just look at the GT3 RS.
I did the same thing only with a MKIV Jetta and a can of coke. Smash-chopped the can almost in half. I kept a respectful distance after that.
If you’re 6'+ and have 2 kids under 2 the Chevy SS is in a category of one.
It aint no M3, but @ $20k to $25k less, its a helluva deal.
I had one as a loaner and the others I’ve seen on the road only the bumper lights come on under braking.
Non-functional design elements are silly decorations. Every single one is the result of a designer being lazy.
$144k for a GT3 RS plus $44k for the transmission swap with the level of quality put into this build? If you’ve got the money its a bargain...
The car’s value has to be under $500 or you get penalty points, but its mainly to keep performance ringers from coming in so there’s a lot of room for discretion from the judges.
Kinda, the SV gag is referencing a Peter Theil rumor that was floating around a couple of years ago. Life imitates art imitating life...
... such as the blood of the young.
Not a shithead? Then who did you vote for!? And why didn’t you tell the rest of us about this magical candidate!?!
Since it was flying backwards...
Unpossible.
Especially in bottles, god I love that stuff.

Wait, really? That should be a Jalopnik story
