This is just a mini swamp cooler. If you live in a humid climate, this will do little to nothing. These are best suited for dry climates.

The o is supposed to be lowercase in TiVo

I’ve purchased several gift cards from local restaurants that went out of business before I had the chance to use the funds. I’d rather support the business now rather than purchasing a gift card that might end up as a donation to a failed business.

I’ve gotten a few concerned looks & comments from people when they see the thermal paste that Dell sends with their parts. It has no branding at all. I don’t think the misconceptions about thermal paste applicators is the driving force behind the redesign though. I would stick with the traditional method over this.

Contacting the Medical Records department or Health Information Management department of your healthcare provider would probably be a better option than simply asking your doctor. While they may have the correct answer, they certainly aren’t versed in the security policies of the systems even though they access them

You could hide channels on the recommended feed for quite some time, at least on iOS. You would hit the Not interested button then tap the “Tell us why” button. There would be an option to say you weren’t interested in that specific channel. This new method is definitely better since it’s not buried anymore, but the

400 potential work hours in two weeks?? There’s only 168 hours in a week. Is that supposed to be 40 potential hours?

Since you mentioned software that was free to students, Autodesk provides most of their software for free to students including 3DS, Maya & AutoCAD. They’re the full versions with some restrictions on the number of installs. I’ve had no issues with these versions in the past. https://www.autodesk.com/education/free-sof

This is exactly what I do when eating out. I am lactose intolerant and have a spice intolerance (chile, pepper, etc.). I don’t go into anaphylaxis and I know the differences between intolerance and allergy but I can’t count the number of times where I’ve mentioned my intolerance and my food comes still comes with

Healthcare worker here and I just want to expand on the facial hair issue. We’re issued N95 masks and complete annual training on how to wear them. If you have any facial hair, even stubble, the mask does not create a seal and is not as effective. It’s certainly better than nothing, but extra caution should be taken.

Walt Disney World does a great job accommodating food allergies. When checking in at table service restaurant the host has always asked me if there are any food allergies they need to know about. A chef will usually come and discuss the allergies too. This is in addition to their allergy friendly menus for the common a

The dining plan has absolutely nothing to do with “guaranteeing spots at the best restaurants”. If staying at a Disney resort you can book Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days prior to check in regardless of your use of the dining plan. If getting a reservation is important to you for places like Cinderella’s Royal

Florida can be hot and you’ll be doing a ton of walking. It’s important to stay hydrated! Bottled water at Disney is expensive. You can get free ice water at the quick service restaurants. You don’t have to purchase anything, just walk up and ask at the ordering areas! Usually they are the small cups and Cast Members

I don’t know if I’d classify Trader Sam’s as a secret bar, but it definitely does feel hidden! I prefer the outside area, Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace. Same menu as inside, but more of a standard bar feel. The servers don’t do any acting when you order a drink, which is more my style.

My first trip to WDW was over a spring break. We didn’t know any better so 60 minute waits weren’t uncommon for us. Now I go to 2-3 times per year, but never at peak times. I won’t go on any attraction with a wait time over 30 minutes. I am still able to ride everything I want. I just have to be a bit more strategic

Lifehacker posts a story yesterday saying Tether is causing Bitcoin’s crash and now Giz says it’s causing Bitcoin’s climb...

I’m immunocrompromised so flying is a concern in regards to getting sick. I travel with lysol wipes and hand sanitizer. My usual routine is to board, put my bag in the over head bin and wipe down the headrest, arm rests, window shade, air vent, seat belt buckles and tray table (even though I don’t use it). I go

They are actually just now switching away from the red cards and will start using MagicBands to track attraction wait times. I’m sure this will be more accurate since they can get a constant stream of data rather than the randomly timed red card.

Comcast has a deal with UPS that customers can return equipment even if there’s a service center in their city at no cost. I used it last month. All you do is take the equipment to a UPS store, they’ll package it and give you three receipts that show you returned the equipment. It was absolutely painless.
