“the temperature at Sydney’s airport reached 109.2 degrees F (42.9C), a new record in that city for the month of February. Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology says it’s now officially the hottest summer in Sydney’s recorded history”

CHECKMATE, LIBTARDS!!!

And there’s always eighteen-hundred of you who will pedantically jump on a tongue-in-cheek post in order to make sure everyone knows you know the difference.

When you think about it, it makes sense that it doesn’t work well on androids.

That quote from Futurama isn’t making me cry! It’s making you cry, you big crier! (runs from room so not-crying).

I just want to say that I love Star Trek week. I love it even more than the Senior Week. I love all the articles and all the comments.

I think the Spock/Sarek relationship is one of the best things about Star Trek, and it continued into The Next Generation episode, where Sarek is dying and Spock is secretly on Romulus trying for reunification. Pickard and Spock talk, and Spock observes:

After you’ve spent enough time in the company of geeks and nerds, someone will eventually ask the inevitable

I actually really liked the explanation that Enterprise finally gave for the difference in Klingons. It worked really well.

“Maybe, just maybe, it’s time to admit that not every story needs a relationship as its A-, B-, or even C-plot. A story without romance is better than one with a bad one.”

Nice.

Wait - Ser John Standing played Ser Jon lying down???

I beg to differ, Abrams is simply moving the story line forward to the next chapter. Anything he does going forward doesn’t take anything away from the OT.

Starblazers + Robotech will always have a special place in my heart from my childhood. (YEAH I SAID STARBLAZERS INSTEAD OF YAMATO AND ROBOTECH INSTEAD OF MACROSS, HATERS!)
