Interesting results.
I am pondering how it is that Dodge is at the peak, yet Chrysler is way down near the bottom.
Lexus and Acura also seem to be ranked lower than normal.

But good for Chevy/Dodge/Kia.  Maybe they’ve made some big strides!

This is actually really good content.
Even with a Chinese only audience (or perhaps especially because of it) I am shocked they do not have more subscribers, and more views on this video.

So the brand of bike you see more of on the street than anything else wants to worsen their customer experience in hopes they will sell more bikes?

Yeah but these aren’t that hard miles.
They are mostly people who pointed them straight and squirted the throttle for 5-15 seconds.
To me it’s actually surprising so many of these could survive 20-30k miles as rentals.

These might be an OK deal if they weren’t rental cars (and I’m sure, all automatic).
But given you could get a Z06 new for ~$70k for the last few years, I am not thinking I would plop down $60k for a rental with 20k miles on it, and some stripes that I’d need to remove.

Not saying that it was ok to pay so little attention, but it does look like this island is pretty new, what with the very young tree and all.
Perhaps this was just her first time driving the road since the island was added (and she was also paying too little attention, and hauling ass).

This being possible true (and possibly not) does not explain why the Taycan’s range is so bad. Motor’s are not internal combustion engines where increased performance usually leads to increased fuel consumption, even when not being used.

But to the former the Tesla Model 3 Performance appears perfectly willing to be

I mean the choice is a bit obvious...for $35k you can likely get any of the Camaro SS, Mustang GT, or Challenger Scat Pack all brand new. Each of them MSRP a bit higher, but all are offered with discounts, especially the Camaro (which has a few drawbacks but is easily the best driver on a twisty road...though that

Does insulting me make you feel better about buying an over priced car that does all the work for you?

LOL...stop talking out of your ass. ZR1's run 10.8's bone stock. Same track prep as any NSX gets at the drag strip, the only difference is the “antiquated” Corvette can actually do a burnout because it’s not an easy mode computerized video game that does the driving for you like the NSX.

I can see this being overwhelming for a new driver.  Esp if they don’t understand why the 88 and 94 is cheaper than the 87, and so they go with that on a non-flex fuel car.

Same with the FiST...manual says 87 required, premium for “towing”...but in reality you do not get the 197hp overboost when running 87.  So I tend to run 87 most of the winter, and 93 the other 9 months of the year.

I’m pretty sure several people have been running 10.90's and a few 10.80's in MANUAL ZR1's...automatics run 10.80's easy. Just go watch StreetSpeed717's passes.

And you say the Corvette is underengineered? Seems like a cheap shot. The problem with the Z06/ZR1 is they’ve got 650-750hp in a front engined platform. Simply

I’m not saying accidents don’t happen, they just don’t happen as often as videos would lead you to believe. It’s a situation where cameras are rolling nearly 100% of the time, and regular dyno video’s aren’t very exciting and don’t get many views...but stuff breaking and blowing up...that gets the views, leading one

Uhhh...have you ever been to a dyno? I’ve never seen one go awry, let alone catch fire like this.
Sure a fire extinguisher is something you should have on hand, but not literally in hand.

Did you watch the video? The sparks start immediately after the strap breaks. Even if the drum was way more than these disk brakes could stand they wouldn’t be sparking like that for at least 20-30 seconds.

Well the Corvette has always done a good job beating the competition in performance for less money, but since you ask, in 1991 the NSX started at ~$2000 less than the Corvette ZR1.
But when people endlessly bragged about the original NSX they weren’t really talking about drag racing, they were talking about track

The problem is the old NSX was also a great *drivers* car, and the new car sacrificed a lot of good driver focused qualities in the name of speed and then isn’t really all that competitive anyway.
The original NSX gave the Ferrari’s of the time trouble on the track...the new one is slower than a Camaro ZL1.

CLOSE...but the C8 also needs a proper transmission...then it would be a true drivers car.

I’m going to disagree and say the worst part (from a marketability standpoint) is it’s price. Even with the discounts it’s just way too expensive for what you get. The C8 is likely going to lay waste to the NSX in everything but the quarter mile for nearly $100k less.

The worst part for me is the lack of a manual
