The problem with that is not everyone reads a ton of reviews, and many people will just look at a spreadsheet and think “only 335hp for $50k? You could just get a 370Z or V6 Camaro for $20k less...”

I just don’t get any of this.
$3800 for lowering? I mean lowering springs are like $250 + install. Even expensive coilovers should only be about $1800 installed.
And his car doesn’t even look very low. Certainly not slammed like all of the stanced retards I see around my area, and probably not as low as most supercars.

So

Yeah that’s what I’ve been saying for a while. On paper the Supra is just a 370Z or V6 Camaro competitor.
That said I figured it would be underrated...but holy hell I underestimated the amount of underrated it would be. C&D tested a Supra to 12.3 @ 113mph. Things got like ~420hp...or at least the magazine tester did.

I think the real question is...given all of this publicity...have any girls (or guys?) taken him up on this offer?

So does it have good performance?
Is the interior nice enough to overcome the lack of performance (per dollar)?

Being a rental from Enterprise...no.

I had a rental Wrangler last week, and can confirm.
Actually given mine was a base model it almost didn’t feel modern.
It didn’t have a touch screen or backup camera (which being a 2018 I thought would have been required). It had manual windows and door locks.
It might as well have been 1990 base model Jeep with slightly

I think the problem with the new Supra is 1) it’s really a BMW, and 2) like the Z, it’s power didn’t really keep up with everything else.  I wouldn’t be surprised if the new Supra has trouble beating a standard Camaro SS or Mustang GT on the track.

Two cylinders ~and a clutch~ away.

I just clicked this because I wanted to listen to Shooting Stars.

A few questions...
How does it turn without bending the wheels?
How does it turn without a steering wheel?
Who is steering, or does this rely on Ouija steering?
If they wanted this thing to be efficient, why not more aerodynamic?

Or maybe they just need a lot of air to ensure the car stays cool, so they don’t have a repeat of the Z06 issues.

No one is saying it needs to be manual only.

Automatics are important for the old people and bench racers who will make the car sell well enough to reach economies of scale.

Without all the padding this thing looks pretty shapely. I like the size of those fender intakes.
I hope Tremek helps convince GM to keep a manual option though...even if after a year.

Again, I said that they are great for work vehicles. Yet there are plenty of people that I see daily driving them with sparkly clean beds. People on farms I get, for people working in IT...well it’s a penis enhancement tool.

I’ve been talking about regular Trucks, as that is what I had.  I see the confusion as this article is about the Raptor specifically, but I never mentioned it.

Sorry about the confusion.  I was talking about Trucks in general, not the Raptor specifically.  The Truck I had was just a regular F150 quad cab.  I am aware the Raptor specializes in off-road ability, but I’m just talking about the usefulness of the averate truck, as raptors are exceedingly rare.

I mean I managed just fine for a week, but it was worse in every aspect than the cars I normally drive.  I just wouldn’t want to put up with the hassle of it being harder to manage, getting worse gas mileage, and throwing me around when I hit bumps when I could just instead have a car that is better.

Yes in a super limited situation that most Trucks are not in for the first several years of their lives, and of which Jeeps are superior.

And FYI I traded the shitty truck in for a Jeep today and took it offroading :p

Yellow cars FTW!
