Man everyone took the wrong bait except you. Congrats.
But also...yeah...on track, pretty similar.

So I’m assuming that you’ve either never been at fault in an accident, or that you don’t drive.
I think this is a better take than most.
And what one side was that? Everyone seems to be taking the position that this guy was being wreckless. I think he merely made a mistake that appears to be less egregious than say someone texting on their phone.
Still not good, but not quite villainy either.
While I don’t agree with the Camaro’s design of prioritizing looks above visibility, that is exactly what the Lamborghini did, and your assessment is wrong. Most reviews barely mention the Lamborghini’s atrocious visibility, while the comparably better visibility in a Camaro seems to be the theme of many of it’s…

I didn’t think it was a good idea.
Also it’s a bit hard to tell, but he may have mashed the throttle harder once he saw he was in the way of the biker.
There are mid-engined cars that do not have such poor visibility. I imagine Lamborghini sacrificed visibility for cool looks, which is EXACTLY what the Camaro team (or more accurately Al Oppenheiser) did.
Let’s be clear I don’t agree with that decision, but the visibility is simply a passing note on Lamborghini…
To be fair you really can’t see shit out of those cars.
I really don’t understand why Lambo’s get a free pass for their visibility while Camaro’s get all kinds of shit about it despite having similar performance at ~1/3rd the price.
Anyway he still shouldn’t have gone without knowing it was clear, but he probably was…
There are plenty of manual transmissions that will work just fine with the simple development of a bellhousing, not to mention the manuals that already exist for this exact engine...so I don’t even understand what development they actually think they need to do.
To most non-enthusiasts, driving a manual is just that way. Why have something extra to do when an automatic does it for you?
What they don’t understand is for those that truly enjoy driving, and especially enjoy driving fast it creates a connection that you don’t get with an automatic. And a slushbox just won’t…
So I am a bit confused about this car. I was excited when Ford announced it, and based on it’s Lightning Lap time of 2:53.8 which is a hair faster than the Cayman GT4, and a full second faster than the Camaro SS 1LE, it would seem the PP2 meets the goal of being a track weapon.
However I talked to Randy Pobst and he…
I guess a more appropriate question which FWD cars should have been RWD.
And to me the answer is any dedicated two door car posing as a sports car. I am fine with FWD, and I love my Fiesta ST. But if I am going to sacrifice rear doors, and esp rear seats for something sporty, why stop short with FWD?
There are quite a…
I’m with you 100%. I wanted to buy a new SS 1LE in the 19-20 timeframe, and now I just don’t like it. I’ll either have to buy used (want to sell yours? Blue is my fav!) or wait to see what the gen-7 is like.
More starts sir...more stars!
When you talk about the Camaro like it’s the boring option you can clearly only be talking about looks, because the Camaro is the top dog in performance right now (the Demon in drag racing aside). The SS 1LE is unparalleled in the under-$50k market, and the ZL1 is only matched by it’s brother the Corvette GS.
What I…
This thing is cool in that it’s so wierd, but I’m not even an engineer and I can point out several glaring flaws.
You wouldn’t be able to turn the car if you were sitting still and applying the brakes.
How are you going to wipe a rounded windshield like that?
The way the front end pivots would make the car very easy to…
I probably should have been clearer that the BMW is much uglier...not the Fiat.
I don’t suppose you made it to Pasteiners on Woodward did you?
So I was at my dad’s office building near a car show called “Back to the Bricks” (in Flint), and when I was leaving I was going to head to Detroit for the Woodward Dream Cruise, so I plugged some info in my GPS and head off. I see that the exit to the parking lot is immediately to my right so I turn right, and bam. …
Well they could overcome development costs by selling more volume. Hrm...wonder how they could sell more...oh yeah, sell them outside of Japan!!!
