Except then their vehicles wouldn’t be remotely competitive outside of Japan.
Frankly that is already starting to happen right now. The GT-R has fallen behind despite getting considerably more expensive. The Z is very outdated and not as fast as the other ~$35k competition.

I think this is really just an excuse because

$18k for a less good looking 350Z with a hot air intake? Pass.

The better the Miata is the more they will sell, giving it better economies of scale.

I really don’t understand why Japanese manufacturers have such a hard time applying this concept to their sports cars.

To be fair I actually know a few people that were holding out for a more powerful BRZ. Eventually they all just got something else.

These cars sure are beautiful, but (IMO) a sports car should have a proper manual transmission, and the 4C isn’t really very fast, nor is it practical enough to use as a daily. CP

You seriously couldn’t fit a weeks worth of luggage inside a Camaro SS trunk? What are you a fashion queen?
Maybe you are mistaking the trunks opening for it’s actual size.

C&D did a test and was able to fit 4 travel suitcases inside the Camaro’s 9 cubic feet of trunk space.
For comparison I was able to pack a weeks

Except that native Japanese overwhelmingly have dark hair and brown eyes. Their anime doesn’t depict this. Maybe it’s only because in an intimation it would be harder to tell the characters apart otherwise, but the thing is most in most anime people look Anglo-Saxon.

This is true, but they also create drag, so there is a tradeoff, and that tradeoff is most often not worth it for cars with less than 20hp/ton.
And even though you don’t have to go 170 to get downforce, a spoiler like that probably isn’t producing much at 120 either.
Maybe they tested the car with and without, but it

Latest I heard was 772hp. Bring on the Cars and Coffee!!!!

Not that I hate it, but it did create a wave of Dodge fanboys all claiming that all other cars were inferior despite the fact that the Demon probably can’t catch a 200hp BRZ on a road coarse, and that it’s not actually NHRA legal to race on a drag strip without a cage.
So it’s still a cool car, but I sort of hate the

LOL that is worse than I thought. So now probably only 130, which is barely better than a Corolla.

Good to know. But if this is just “slightly upgraded” then why does the package cost nearly $8000????

For comparison the 1LE package on the SS costs $6500 and comes with quite a lot more upgrades.

They just need to have the factory option. So you can get it with a warranty. The only thing they really need to design is the intake/intercooler piping, and downpipe. The rest is pretty much done.

Heh, I find AWD to not be worth the penalty in weight, power loss, and lack of handling characteristics.

How much downforce can it produce at 110? I mean the regular car’s top speed is what...145? I bet it is a grueling crawl above 130. Now imagine adding drag...probably lowers top speed to 140 and makes it take a lot longer to get there.

For this price, or very near to it, the car should have been a real STi with a turbocharger (basically the 268hp WRX engine dropped right in). There is no reason this car should be $33.5k yet have at best ~50% less power than the other performance cars at that price range.

As I said in another post, I was infuriated

Ehh...they are making money, and customers are happy (meaning willing to stay). I don’t see how this is a failing model.

This semi wasn’t traveling at normal highway speeds though...more like ~10-15mph.
Getting out was a much bigger risk on her part. She is lucky the car didn’t bat her aside on the impact.

My theory is that it was smote by God because of it’s sacrilegious transmission.

At least off road culture uses the vehicles for a purpose. Stanced cars on the other hand are useless, except to show off to other idiots with their own stanced shit.
