I would assume so. My point is that there are many businesses that get away with firing people for personal reasons because they aren’t required to provide a legitimate reason.

Because there are better and or faster cars out there for the same or less money.

While many American cars are a bit big for much of Japan and Europe, they are still plenty good. Japan no longer holds a patent on reliability.

One thing GM does need to do better on if it wants to regain a global market is to make some of it’s better vehicles available in RHD.

The Model 3 has over 450k pre-orders, and I know a few people who are among them (all middle class).
And yes 75-100k is pretty much just on the upper side of the middle class.
And that is what it takes to afford a $35k car. If you look at current electric cars the battery is by far the most expensive part, far

Actually the Bolt and Model 3 have predominantly been bought by the middle class.
Most lower income people can’t afford a new car at all, let alone one that costs ~$30k after a tax incentive. But the whole point with this incentive is to get electric cars into the mainstream enough that it promotes further investment

You seem to be only thinking about the Model S and X.
Besides the Nissan Leaf, there are also two other lower level entries new to the market: The Chevy Bolt and the Telsa Model 3, both of which would be severely impacted by a ~20% price hike.

As I’ve said in other threads, the EV tax incentive isn’t just to prop up

Well in theory you would pay less taxes...but in reality you would pay the same in taxes and some wealthy guy would pay less taxes.

The EV incentive isn’t about supporting the companies that make EV’s. It’s about encouraging technology growth for vehicles that are more environmentally friendly.
If we want to get rid of an EV tax (rebate) that is fine... A more equitable solution would be to put in place an emissions tax on other vehicles (and I

You are forgetting that EV’s play a large role in the conservation of the environment.
Without that, I would agree there is no point in propping up an uncompetitive industry.
But we really do need to push for cleaner transportation technology, and so an EV tax credit helps do that. The more of them that are sold the

There were a lot of people who made that threat. I’d be very surprised if more than a few dozen people actually followed through without significant other helping factors.

It was a combination of many factors really. But yes, for the most part Hillary’s bad perception caused less democrat voters to show up, and resulted in Trump winning some of the Typical blue states like Michigan.

Do you understand what “right to work” is? It’s really a fallacy of words and means a corporations “right to fire” people without cause.

I completely agree business should be able to fire bad employees, however they should require a documented reason for it.

While many car’s made in America (or at least sold under American brands) are really unsuitable for use in Japan, there are still plenty that are suitable and competitive (in reliability, fuel mileage, etc). I think the other half of the equation is Japanese culture. Similar to our conservatives who only want to buy

We have those too, but we sell more Camry’s so more dents in them.

Trump does know words, he has the best words.

I wonder why he stopped early on the first run. The car was clearly still climing at a decent rate.
Had he pushed the speed on both runs I think the average would have been above 280mph.

So...wait...this is the Agera RS...which if I am not mistaken is not Koenigsegg’s fastest car. The One:1 (with like ~200hp more) is right?

I’m with Stef on this one. Chevy SS all the way.
And don’t listen to George. If you need a third row of seating, get an Ecoboost Flex. It’s faster and handles better than any Minivan or SUV I’ve driven while having the same cargo capacity.

Neither of my cars had latches for the baby seats, and that was only ~7 years ago. Like Jason said you just belt the seat in place. Most Fire departments will show you how to do it correctly if you aren’t sure.

Yep, got that mixed up. I guess I’d agree with you then.
