The only thing they really need to worry about is crash standards. Being a Ford V8 engine it shouldn’t be too hard to meet emissions regs...just use the same stuff the Mustang has.

I disagree, however I do find it slightly annoying seeing all these daily driven 240's and Miata’s chirping around corners on welded diffs because they think they are gonna be a pro drifter.
So all judged sporting events like gymnastics, figure skating, or diving are all just pointless?
The hilarious part is that drifting is more fun to watch than most other motorsports, yet as the driver it is super stressful.
“Prone”???? Are you kidding me? She was screaming at him.
He should have gotten out of the car, but he panicked. The customer took a slightly bad situation and made it much worse.
Neutral: Honda needs to get some soul back in their cars. The new Civic (in general) shows they may be moving in that direction. But currently aside from the Civic, (and maybe even including it) Honda might be the most boring major auto brand on the market.
A lot of people really don’t care about that, which is why…
“I’m pretty sure you can just dump a bunch of rice in it for a few days and it will fire right up.”
LOL why does this comment have more stars than almost any other?
I never saw the mention of the scuffed rim, but that only happened because the customer was wigging out in his face and he basically had a nervous breakdown.
For all we know the guy may have never broke any real laws, and she just flipped out when she saw him driving the car.
Sounds exactly like something an old lady would scream at you for driving 10 over.
Maybe I sound like an attorney, but it’s simply her word of it with no proof, and she didn’t even mention it in the video, she was asking why he was at the drive through. This whole thing reeks of grotesque exaggeration. Which is…
OK, and he only backed out of the drive through because the lady was going bat shit.
Again, he probably shouldn’t have done that, but the customer overreacted, and so are most people here.
Out of curiosity, say I were to find a desirable new/dealership car that had been flooded to it’s eye balls, for a really good price.
What would one expect to have to replace, and what mechanically would still work after a good cleaning and drying? I know the interior is usually pretty wrecked, but do all of the…
If someone driving your car upsets you that much, why exactly would you ever take it anywhere for service?
While I don’t condone hooning in a customer car, I do agree a lot of people are severely overreacting here. As far as I can tell they were just alleging that the service tech was driving fast, and plenty of people have a propensity for exaggeration these days. My guess is the tech punched the car to 60 in front of…
You realize Nissan probably did make a good offer before the suit. This guy is just stubborn and vindictive.
Ehh...maybe a case of both being giant douchebags. But keep in mind, it is pretty much assured Nissan Motors offered this small business a decent amount of money for the domain name before sewing him for it, which was more likely a scare tactic than any expectation to collect money.
It was that guys right to keep the…
So basically the website is owned by a giant douchebag.
I think the gear ratios are similar, but I am surprised the Camaro is that bad aerodynamically.
Oddly enough the oddest GPS fail I had was near Detroit. I was going to my cousins new house, and was on a very straight road with no turns, and the GPS was constantly telling me to “bear left”, over and over again. Often times it would cut off one bear left instruction to start the next.
Another GPS fail I had left me…
Whaaaa really? Then what explains getting ~4-5mpg worse on the highway?
Keep in mind, this is still Volt-like. If you average below 40 miles a day you could easily spend most of your mileage on electric only power.
But for highway trips, yes this would be inefficient.
What I don’t get is how this hybrid gets worse fuel economy (highway?) than a V8 Camaro, which has none of the Corvette…
A friend of mine has a slightly older Fiat that is very unique, much like this. I believe it is a 1956. Unfortunately in his tight garage this was the best shot I could get. He also put’s about 10k miles a year on an X1/9, and has several other interesting cars.
