So you don’t feel that taking advantage of an inelastic market is gouging?
I feel that it is. Keep in mind I didn’t say it was illegal because it isn’t. And if you ask why gas companies why they don’t do it for all gas (which is all relatively inelastic) the answer is that they DID do it during the Bush era, and

Sorry, but I’ve been to enough cruise ins (mainly Woodward) to know that old cars quite often have overheating problems when sitting in traffic. His car did overheat because he had the hood popped and was letting it cool off. Maybe he should have done that in the first place, but meh, IMO he had a legitimate excuse.

Yeah I saw some posts on Youtube from his team. Still Bill is an engineer by profession and a race car driver as a hobby or secondary profession. He is quite obviously very good, but is he a pro?

Actually, after some tire pressure adjustments, Pobst took the auto ZL1 back out again and ran 1:25.87 (just a hair faster than the 650S).
So the auto is faster...if only just barely.
I’d still take the 6-speed. As it is I’m planning on plopping down on an SS 1LE in a year or two.

Keep in mind this lap was supposedly with engineer Bill Wise, not a German Nurburgring pro. So there may be some time left on the table.

I really can’t wait to see this thing at Lightning Lap or Best Drivers Car, a lot less driver bias and cheating going on there.

I’m sure the Viper ACR is faster, but they did a run of 13 tracks in America nearly two years ago. If they were going to do Nurburgring they would have done it already.

The Chassis. As good as the Corvette is, the Alpha chassis is spectacular, and the Camaro comes off as better balanced and more controlable.

Have fun with your selection of less interesting cars.

Do you honestly think that the cost for producing 93 octane has increased by 150% in two years?
No, the demand is higher, and they are price gouging.

I saw the first concept ~12 years ago. It did not look all that different from the production version we have now.
And FWD V10??? You must be joking (or typo’d).

I was in a traffic jam a few weeks ago, and an old El Camino passed me, and I was kind of pissed. A few miles later he was pulled over, and it turned out he was only driving there to try and cool the car down, but someone wouldn’t let him pass and it overheated.

I have often left gas stations after seeing their price for premium, to find another that is the (now standard) 50¢ per gallon increase over regular.

Finally an article about this. I’ve been wondering when this obvious gouging would get some coverage.

And this is the primary criticism of the NSX. Many (myself included) believe the hybrid system does not pull it’s weight...literally. The car would likely be just as fast in a straight line without it, yet corner and brake better. Without the hybrid system it wouldn’t have numb steering, could have a manual option for

Uhh, the NSX still took 3-4 times the normal developmental lifecycle, and it came out overpriced, overcomplicated, and underfast.

I think the (street) NSX’s problems stem from the notion that the electric part of the drivetrain don’t adequately make up for the weight it adds, and then also detracts from the driver involvement by numbing the steering, and making a manual-trans less practical.
The argument that the NSX should have been non-hybrid

Chevy/Buicks system is somewhat customizable, but just in what you want to see on the main scren and what order the options go in. You can’t invent the UI or add features like sensor monitoring.

Oddly enough I was just on Tail of the Dragon a couple weeks ago, and on my earliest run a Challenger had cooked a turn, and wrecked into the mountain wall.

Pay attention here Mazda and Toyota/Subaru!
“Honda is taking inspiration from Porsche and Chevrolet who are both known for numerous variants of their high-performance specialty cars and will apply that philosophy to the Civic Type R. This is a smart move from a business perspective, because the more versions of the

Are you like 7 feet tall or something? I’ve never heard anyone comment about their Knee rubbing anything, but a bruise sounds serious...like serious bullshit.
