Nice. Glad to see I wasn't the only one that noticed the difference. The car just seems sluggish on 87, but I imagined it's mostly in my head.

Do you guys have any internships available? I've been in the military for 9 years, I'm used to working for pittance.

Was wondering the same thing. It's not that much farther of a drive from Pilot Point.

For some reason this guy comes to mind...

My 09' Bullitt gets about 25 cruising at 80, little less that 16 in the city on premium, but then I have a heavy foot. What grade of fuel are you running in yours?

The 4.6 was a bit long in the tooth by 2003, but it's a fantastic engine and relatively efficient considering its a 2v. I had that motor in my 2002, and if you do the basic maintenance like you seem to have done, it will run like a top for a very long time. Plus, the 2000-2004(heritage) models were good looking

Neutral: How close is your MPG to the EPA number? You doing better or worse than the EPA says you should do? Is it your car? Your drive? Your under inflated tires?

The design is so bland and boring, even the Corolla is falling asleep.

I can't believe it took this long to find a comment about the SHO. They came later obviously, but I think there was no better example of them taking on the status quo than the SHO. They marketed it against the 3 series, which IMHO, is pretty ballsy.

As far as sales go, I think it does marginal at best. I think there was talks of it being discontinued or replaced. Seems odd though, it should have the same underpinnings as the Grand Cherokee, which it is quite good.

Slightly off topic. That photo definitely shows that the Durango is a good looking vehicle; I feel like it doesn't get enough love. Too bad the current model came after the bankruptcy and not before. Instead we got the minivan on steroids... yuck!

I'm a bit torn on my favorite.

Aww! But 458 fire jokes are part of the reason I come to Jalopnik!

Snapped a few shots of this car in Fukuoka, JP a few years back. Absolutely love this thing.

Wasp Class actually. I was just referring to the fact their mission is more similar to our LHDs than our CVNs.

A more accurate comparison... Still bigger, but only 8 of them.

To be fair, we have ships in the US Navy that carry aircraft that we don't designate as "aircraft carriers" and we happen to have one stationed in Japan no less. It's the same one that Giz and just about every other media outlet misreported as an "aircraft carrier" just a few weeks ago, the Amphibious Assault Ship,

Lets not forget the rumor of the Jalopnik Holy Grail, the G8 version of the Maloo!

Dealt with that when I was in Florida for a bit. What's more annoying is that it is usually like clock work in the Summer, every day about 3:30 to 4pm. 15 minutes tops, and it was gone.
