During this time of isolation I pulled out the kettlebells from the back of the closet. I found an app, aptly named “Kettlebells” that lets you set difficulty and time, and since it’s been a while since I’ve swung one of those things around, the 10 minute workouts find me sweating and short of breath (are Kettlebells

It’s got The Last Man on Earth, which seems to be something of a prototype for Romero’s shambling zomboids in Night of the Living Dead. Definitely worth a watch.

Also very good old fashioneds.

A REALLY big guillotine?

Here’s a quick and easy recipe that will make you glad you brought bacon home:

I’m not saying you’re spinning yarns, but I’ve found that the grocery scarcity comes in waves at least here in the Pacific Northwest. First it was pasta, then beans, then flour. I also limited last week’s shopping to the one market closest to me, which typically carries a single type of flour. On Friday when I leave

I save and freeze any veggie scraps and trimmings and bones I happen to have in the kitchen and make a big batch of stock. Tastes better and and way cheaper than the store bought stuff.

I started a new whole wheat starter this week, because it’s just another thing to add to my routine in a futile attempt at keeping things “normal” as I can.
I have, however been baking yeasted loaves every Sunday. If nothing else it gives my wife and I some good bread for meals through Wednesday or so, and I’m just

Nightmare was produced, but not directed by Burton. It is also my personal feeling that its one of the most overhyped movies ever. Good, but nowhere deserving of the sustained fanfare.

If I were someone who were asked to rank the films of one Timothy Burton, it would look something like this, with things changing based entirely on my mood:
1-2) Mars Attacks or Ed Wood
3-5) Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure
6) Batman
7) Batman Returns

I actually rather enjoy Batman Returns, but

I did not care for Big Fish, no. I will accept that others enjoy his post-Mars Attacks output, but I dislike those movies, myself.

In my ranking of the various things of the world, I would say that this is either the best or second best film that Burton ever made as well as the last good movie he made.

As of right now, there is not yet a run on beekeeper’s masks, for you face touchers out there.

My friend, that’s a lot of letters, when to answer your question all you needed were Y, E and S.

I mean, replace a mediocre white guy with a mediocre white guy? Seems appropriate.

I’m here, but I need a long rest to regain HP.

If it makes any difference at all (it shouldn’t) I can’t stand Oreos without milk either. Me and dry cookies are not friends.

Whatever the new lemon ones are, which are neither frosted nor powdered. The two cookies you describe have gone the way of the Kookaburra.

The new lemon ones are better than I expected. The real rank is:
1) Samoa
2) Tagalong
3) Peanut butter sandwich things (with milk)
4) Thin Mint Frozen
5) Thin Mint Room Temp
6) Lemon ones
7)Peanut butter sandwich things (if you’re outta milk)
8) Shortbread

I think there are others now, but does it really matter? No, it doesn’t.

In Seattle where we seem to have the worst outbreak, I haven’t been to a single store that has any in stock and online retailers seem to be sold out. I don’t typically use hand sanitizers, because I wash my goddamned hands like an adult human, but I do know that I’ll be flying within the next two weeks, so if i can’t
