I guess it's just me then...I have used crushed tomatoes for a variety of instances and, if you know how to season/add flavor to them, you can make them taste quite nice. Also I am just a cheap and lazy piece of crap so it's perfect for me lol

I've got a pretty decent (and much cheaper) Black & Decker Toaster Oven which has worked well for small baking, so I don't think that will be an issue.
