Personally I find online passes to be fully justifiable, and our OP makes some great points. The post did however make me think about the shit-storm we would see if publishers started doing something similar for single player games/campaigns (partly to get back at some of the used game revenue, partly as a anti-piracy

Funny Kirk should mention that, because I have heard what sounds like mice in my attic. Sadly, each time I poke my head up there they are no where to be seen (could be buried in the insulation) and no droppings. Laid out a variety of traps and bait and nothing. I would say Ralph the mouse moved in, but I haven't heard

Not bad! Just needs a faux green pipe facade around the toilet instead of the wallpaper version behind the throne.

I'm fine with the graphics we have now, honestly. I would prefer the focus to be on better load times (for levels, or textures in general) and frame rates. Obviously there is some overlap there in the mechanisms that produce the desired results, but the main idea is just to make things run as smooth as possible, with

Sounds like you need to do the 12 hour playthrough for FFIX (needed to get Excalibur 2, the best weapon in the game). Makes the game much harder, especially if you try to get S-rank in treasure hunting as well :)

I wholeheartedly agree!

Yeah, Symphonia II was a bit of a mess all around (how dare they mess with my fav character Sheena and restrict her level!) For Xenosaga II, the only changes that really bothered me were KOS-MOS and Momo. Not that the other VA changes were good or equivalent, but the VAs in EP II for those two roles were just flat and

That's my favorite combo of characters to use in Xenosaga I (swap in Momo for Shion in EP II for reasons you will soon understand). After you finish XSI and XSII I want you to remember this: they were originally supposed to be one game! Also, get ready for a shock going into game two with the changes in voice actors.

It's a deceptively long game, especially considering its predecessor.

Yeah, just like KH:Chain of memories the card-based battle system was a turn off for me. So was the voice acting. I managed to power through it and reach the end, but overall it was just not the game for me. It's a pity because I liked other features of the game.

Skies of Arcadia Legends would be a nice HD remake. A good lead in for a sequel even (*wink* *wink* Sega)

I think I have completely finished Solatorobo. I say "think" because there is no point in the epilogue that has any finality to it. At least not like Lunar 2's epilogue did. So for now I will check the game off as completed and move on to something else in my backlog. If anyone else has finished the game and has a

Damn it Brett Farve! We know you have more free time after your retirement, but quit sending ladies pictures of your dick!

I was going to say, Cedar Point still had some classics when last I went there. Sure enough, it's on the map!

Still looking good! The only bit of curiosity not settled for me is whether or not Level-5 decided to incorporate the stylus controls from the DS version in the PS3 version, perhaps as an optional control method using the PS Move. Not that it matters, but I'm still curious about this one thing.

Solatorobo. It's looking like it is three times longer than its predecessor.

Now playing

Good, but all those yeses requires some Marv Albert :)

I wish there were more games like that.

For 17, my thoughts exactly. That is just a pimp car and should never be defiled with decals/stickers or the like. I think that job actually decreased the value of the car.

Yet another good day! Phillies lose (not that I hate them, just wanted that pitching rotation out of the playoffs) and the final season of Shakugan no Shana started. Would have been a great day if I didn't need to replace a front wheel bearing on the car.
