Detroit, MI: 33.3 C, but there is quite a bit a variance here being surrounded by lakes. I'd say we've been averaging just over 30 C, with lows around 21 C and peaking at 37.7 C with high humidity. To save money I've resorted to putting my feet into a buck of cold water over using the AC.

Can we dye their hair?

Well most people here (including me) will say to build your family PC over buying a pre-built one. If you insist upon a pre-built, all non-Macs in the various labs I worked in were Dells. Might have been because of the educational discounts they had worked out with Dell, but in general they seemed pretty solid.

Never said it was a good idea, just what popped into my head after seeing that commercial. Have a better suggestion? Even harder to think about a remake since the movie did not have an Aya Brea. Would have to be some kind of hybrid.

For those of you who have not seen the Japanese movie (1996), it is nothing like the games(1997 and after). It is more horror than the first two games were (and a little weird), and Aya is not a NYPD cop. So, I dunno, maybe something inbetween the two? It's not exactly a well thought out idea so much as the commercial

Seeing the commercial for the upcoming show "Ringer" where Sarah Michelle Gellar is holding a gun made me think: "if she was willing to star in one remake of a Japanese film (The Grudge), maybe she could star in a Hollywood made version of Parasite Eve." She might be getting too old for the role, but it was the first

Unfortunately for the Princess, it looks like it just went from a short Twizzler to red-rope licorice (where's the bulge?). It's hard for a plumper to do a thorough job when his pipe cleaner doesn't fit the width of the pipes he's trying to clean.

Now playing

T.E.C. 3001 to me looks like a head on view of a certain notorious Battletoads stage (level 3)...but in the future where battletoads are absent.

I was swaying back and forth on who I wanted to win. That it came down to a star on star showdown was probably the best way for it to end. Of course it also marked the end America's interest in soccer/football(non-American) until the next time they go deep into a tournament.

I dunno, I think the pose itself is part of the character reveal... if you know what I mean (insert Seinfeld "not that there is anything wrong with that" statement).

That someone actually remembered Funcoland made me enjoy Mega Spooky's entry the most.

I think having a website (or blog) dedicated to the project already announced the project to the world ;)

Acting may not currently be or become the point of all games, but it sure is for some. Usually it is the story driven games where this is the case; where good acting is essential in getting the finer points of the story across. Best example I can think of is the Xenosaga series which had a rotating cast through the

As an RPG lover I'm surprised your list is missing a few entries:

It's a fan remake (or rather completion and modification) of Crimson Echoes, another fan project that had been stuck at 99% completion with a number of bugs. I would say the best way to describe it is kind of a hypothetical story linking the events of Chrono Trigger to Chrono Cross. Like what happens between the end

As with most things, it depends. I have found my 120GB to be more than enough, but I do not have a lot of downloadable titles. If you think you will have a lot of games (20+) where you want do the optional install (or even ones that have a mandatory install), 160GB might not be enough for you. As for the 160GB vs

Latest release for Chrono Trigger: Flames of Eternity launched a couple of days ago. As far as I can tell the most notable bugs are gone so now is a good time to check it out if you have not already done so.

Nah. Remember the Dragon Tank is after you get arrested following your retrieval of Marle in 600 AD (er, retrieval attempt I should say); which followed the Yakra fight. It's a bit confusing because Frog doesn't come with you after that fight, so you're back down to Crono and Lucca for the Dragon Tank fight.

Just spam Chrono & Frog's X-strike dual tech and have Lucca heal and use Flame toss. I'm going to assume the trouble is from the counter attack that hits the party. Avoid this by not attacking him with characters standing right next to the boss. Hope this helps :)

Wow, that has to be the worst critique I have seen since I channel surfed to Fox news. It comes off as "I hate the anime/manga style from Japan, played a game I knew looked this way, and hate the game because it looks this way." It sounds like they never should have even bothered trying the game out. If you know you
