yeah, im not saying im gonna go right out and buy it day one. just the idea of it seems cool to me. if i will be able to play some PC games ive missed out on and maybe a few of the newer releases from the comfort of my living room with a controller in my hand and if the price is right, ill buy it.

ok cool. im pretty much sold on it at this point. ill just wait for a few more details to come out before i pull the trigger but from everything ive heard, valve has a sale from me.

i didnt mean any offense sir, you just seem to have a bone to pick with valve and id rather get the deets from some one a bit more impartial.

i know a woman who considers herself the "tv police" and she goes out of her way to watch anything that might ruffle feathers. she actually has good taste in tv. but she only ever talks about how awful and bad it is. that the walking dead is too gory, or that MTV shows too much sex. she literally doesnt watch anything

ok,so then short answer is its a valve console? does that mean if i buy it i will have access to things like the steam sale and games that are PC only? if so then thats kinda awesome and makes me want one.

ok, anybody not from the PC MASTER RACE?

i hate to sound like a total noob but could sombody give me the cliff notes version on what the steam machine is supposed to be? is it a console or what? id check up on it but im in the midst of house cleaning and dont have the time. ( but i always have time to browse KOTAKU!)

syfy channel actually showing sci fi, the history channel showing history the list goes on lol.

i mean its possible to be so angry that it just builds and builds but still. its sad that this happened while he was so young. two lives have been ruined forever.

aint gonna lie. im always happy to see somthing awful didnt happen in my home state.

i think in any and all cases involving a minor using a gun the owner of the gun should be charged as an accessory. unless the owner can prove there was no way they could have stopped them. they should be charged as well.

ive been incredibly angry before in my life. but i dont think ive ever been so angry that ive actually considered killing someone. beating the shit out of them? sure. but killing them? never. whenever i hear of somthing like this i think back to that scene from FRIDAY.

what? if im white i cant say anything? but if im black or asian i get a pass?

OMG who cares? she didnt do anything wrong.

im unemployed and i game often. i find what works for me is a variety of games, cut into chunks. one day i might spend a few hours digging into shin megami, the next i play GTA online for an hour and then move on with my day. the joy of having time to play games is finding out what works best for you.

i dont see too big of a time sink with multiplayer games. whats great is they are (mostly) allways there so i can jump in whenever i want. i dont mind long games because i treat them like i treat tv shows. ill binge watch four or five eps of FRINGE and then leave it for a few weeks and then come back. i do the same

thats one of the things i love about the 3DS. i can be in the middle of a boss battle but if somthing comes up, i can just close the 3DS, do whatever it is i have to do, then come back and its like i never left.

im lucky in the fact that im not the bread winner in the relationship. so i get to stay home and cook and clean and look after the pets while they bring home the money. i usually play whatever game for a few hours in between my daily cleaning and other stuff.

exactly. its perfectly fine to just not like somthing. but dont be a douche and hate on it just because you dont like it. i dont really like the zelda games. but i can appreciate the history behind the games and how much they mean to video games as a whole.

more people should be like this. there are plenty of things i hate. transformers, assassins creed, call of duty. but i can respect them enough to acknowledge that overall, they are good. just not my cup of tea.
