More than anything, I just hate the fucking score, as well as the fact that this is what all Broadway shows sound like now. It’s like the cast of Glee fucked the house band of a megachurch.

The 300 would like a word with you.

This EV won’t work for me because the commute to my job is 20 miles each way and once I get there they don’t give me enough money to buy this car.

The purpose of subsidy is to incentivize certain behaviors. They are inherently political.

Subsidy is a mechanism to encourage certain behaviors. Subsidy being only applicable for union-built vehicles encourages support for unions. Are unions still important to us?

Unions, or the equivalent power on the side of the workers vs those that have power to crush workers, should be supported.

I love Tesla cars and what they’ve done to push EV adoption but their track record on unions and forcing employees to work during the pandemic without proper precautions is bullshit and proof that unions are a necessary component of the process.

dude they could bring in Bob and Prometheus from Kablam!!

Ford, GM, Stellantis North America, Mazda, Subaru...

And yet none of the American automakers seem capable of it. Ford has given up on cars entirely, Chrysler is basically just selling a minivan and some old stock of a 16 year old model they have laying around, and Chevy is limping along with infinite SUVs and a Corvette.

“Croffle” sounds like a disease your great-great-grandparents tried to avoid. “Don’t go out in the rain after visiting with friends or you might catch the croffle!” they’d say right before feeling a tickle in their lungs that they knew might spell their deaths from a disease that eventually would be cured by the mold

Tesla Model 3. It has some weird halo effect despite being ugly and having a bargain basement interior... And that's before getting into the quality issues. It drives fine, it's fast, and electric... But since when does that get it a free pass when it also costs $50k?

Hey Jason, someone’s reposting your articles via a bot:

It’s the grift that keeps on grifting

Tesla cannot figure out panel gaps, I’m certain that they will not exactly succeed on this.

What is this drivel?  How many pictures of Musk are hanging in your house? What do Musk’s testies taste like?

Now playing

Meanwhile, this is an actual (non vaporware-horseshit) robot, built by Hyundai.

Ok, the whole “promise exciting new tech, to distract from other tech that was promised and never delivered” shtick is getting old. Meanwhile Tesla is delivering $100,000 cars that have quality control and finishing issues not seen on a Mitsubishi Mirage; they’ve only been building the Model S for what, a decade?

ASIMO is still better, cuter, and less of an arse.
