Rednecks? I’m from Johnson City. I resemble that remark.

I don’t know how long it took me to beat Tyson as a kid, but I know I did, and eventually mastered it to a degree that it was a formality. I do know that I rediscovered Punch Out on my laptop NES emulator and have tried maybe 100 times, to no avail. Whatever I had as a kid, I lost it.

To some extent the push to call these guys “terrorists” isn’t so much to point out that they are terrorists, but that the use of that term (or “thugs” in the context of black people) is overused, or at least too-hastily-used, to describe only muslims who commit violence. The shoe-bomber was a jamoke. Most “suspects”

You’re wrong for the same reason many innocent people agree to a plea bargain. Not worth the risk/cost—better to just cut your losses and get it over with.

Wait...up top in graph 3 it says Pierre-Paul “wouldn’t go for” signing him and putting him on the non-football injury list. If he had let them examine his hand, and they wanted to sign him and put him on the preseason non-football injury list, what would have stopped him from “not going for” that (i.e. not signing)?

Jesus. Calm down big fella.

Kyle Farnsworth spearing Paul Wilson then landing a couple haymakers.

Ryan Theriot. RIP to one of the better nicknames of the early 21st Century.

9. When everybody gets an at-bat, you’ve batted around. Whether or not the 9th guy gets on to bring up the first guy again is irrelevant; you just need all 9 to get an at-bat to bat all the way around the line-up.

Or like hanging a projector screen and showing Transformers 3 at Ford’s Theater.

Yes, and it's fucked up. We pretty much all agree it shouldn't work that way.

Give all the money I paid for that Polo shirt to Ralph Lauren. Don't pay those Filipino kids who made it a dime. Nobody knows their name.

If we all agree the industry and this publication are unredeeming and problematic, then I don't see how the models should get a pass despite working for them. If she's so smart and professional—and I have no reason to believe she isn't—then it ought to be fair to bash her for showing off her airbrushed SUPA for a

Obviously athletes are dumber than the general population, but who are the dumbest athletes? Lotta people say football, but it's a complex team sport and pros have to go to college to develop skills. I used to think baseball players were the dumbest athletes. Their sport is almost year-round, they get recruited and

I'm sure an organization like the NFL that's currently preoccupied with repairing its relationship with women would welcome with open arms, and pay millions of dollars to, a guy who dropped out of a free ride, repeat Heisman, and national title to run for the hills from a rape charge.

Also, at least at most corporate restaurants (I worked at a Dave & Busters in college /shivers), servers tip out on percentage of sales. That means what the server gives the bar and support staff is the same no matter what his/her tips were, so a shitty tip only hits the server. The point is to incentive good

No, I'm with Stealth. There is gray area here. Peterson is in the wrong, and should face some sort of consequences (he has, is, and will) but this isn't comparable to domestic violence or drunken assault.
