Ha! I hadn’t heard about that promotion. Brilliant.

Not the majors, but the Charleston River Dogs had a “Nobody Night” promotion in 2002 in which they played in front of, you guessed it, nobody.

But who was here FIRST? Loser has to change his name to one of Stacey Lovell’s other exes?

There’s another Doctor Colossus on here? Huh.

...holy shit.

Aw. You poor thing.

It's also why there's so much fucking accordion in Mexican music.

Corona Extra is terrible, yes. But Corona Familiar isn't bad. I'm glad you mention UV light in Corona Light's entry. Familiar comes in a dark amber bottle. Beer people swear it's exactly the same beer as Extra, but it tastes noticeably better.

I wouldn't say I'm on expert on this sort of thing, but wasn't Teddy Yip's "Theodore Racing" team godawful? They scored two championship points in 51 grand prix.

"Little League Baseball" had the same engine as "Baseball Stars," but with none of the team creation.

Correct - the site originally said 569 votes cast. It has since been updated to 571.

Someone explain this to me: Rule 4C for induction into the HoF states "Any candidate receiving votes on seventy-five percent (75%) of the ballots cast shall be elected to membership in the National Baseball Hall of Fame." (http://baseballhall.org/hall-famers/ru…)

I agree. I don't know why that one isn't getting more love.

...so I'm to assume "The Act of Killing" is being counted as a 2012 film? It screened at Telluride last year, but saw wide release in the middle of 2013.

I can't imagine that film not making either fella's top ten list. It's my clear number one.
