There is a fan made Surface-Tension-Uncut that you just drrop into the BM folder (and replace the original Levels) and you have a full (and even improved over HL1) Surface Tension.
The same goes for On a Rail. There is a great extended version that is much cooler than HL1s and Black Mesa Source's version.
Both from the

Yes the guy left and they also wanted to shorten the parts of Half-Life that felt too lenghty and drawn out. Especially the tram sections. But one of the guys who made a addon to Black Mesa mod to add back parts of that and surface tension now works full time on Black Mesa and will make it much better when it hits

Kids these days need to step up their game. Their Quake game. Hop hop hop muthafucka.

Amen!

I loved the Xen levels and found them very original and engaging, just like the rest of the game

THIS!

Nah, but I keept trying. I mean that scream of him being dragged away is terrefying.

Hmm... This was one of my biggest complains during the time when I still played World of Warcraft. More Boss fights begged for an unusual approach in besting them. A Boss fight where not a single Character Ability would have been used - Think Kharazhan Chess Event! :D

Half life is still one of the best games ever made. Now I have to go replay it again.

Well, Unreal came out months in early 1998 before Half Life and that was a major cinematic FPS too.

Yet another good reading from you!

I've actually always consider this level a really boring part of the game. Even so when I replayed it in Black Mesa a month ago. It's because "We Got Hostiles" has such an action packed introduction of the marines. With lots of really intensive situations. Then after that this level

Blast Pit was an amazing level. The loud clanging was so ominous, it filled you with trepidation before you even saw the thing. I wonder how well the level is handled in the Black Mesa remake.

Rage did this, and the result is just what you predicted.

I loved the Stalker games. I'm glad you mentioned one. It filled that void that I felt in the many years after the first Deus-Ex game. An FPS/RPG hybrid that you actually have to think.

Oh god, Homeworld. I still remember mission 3 (returning to Kharak after the first jump test).

Though I disagree with half the choices, I still think they're pretty solid and interesting choices, and all pretty damn good games.

Right? I don't understand her business model at all. The only think I can think is that she's independently wealthy, and just keeps a store for kicks.

What you are describing is coined as "slacktivism".

Exactly this. I think many who lash out against against Anita don't realize that it takes the spotlight off whatever flaws may be in her message, and puts it instead squarely on their victimization of her as a person. People have a right to their opinions (personally Anita seems to come across as insincere), but
