I know, I'm just saying I did :D

I didn't mean objectively logical, it just seemed a lot more logical to me. :)

Absolutely. Other than that small detail I loved the games top to bottom. Oh my, that's a little risque too.

Totally agreed about the swamps...they're confusing as all hell. Once you've seen one swamp, you've pretty much seem them all. That's a serious problem when you traversing a giant swamp with a bunch of invisible walls. It actually took me 2-3 times retrying the game out to finally finish it. Totally worth it though.

I still hate CD Projekt RED for changing this cutscene artwork to the comic-like from Witcher 2

well lets get to it. KOTAKU YOU FUCKING SCRUBS, HIRE DOC. HES THE BEST YOU GOT!

The writing was good. Usually with long articles, I skim around, but I found myself just reading and reading. Lol.

Arthurian? Maybe Mount and Blade? It's got kingdoms.

Witcher is one of those games that I think people should have no reservations about looking up a guide or two, especially if you're more into the game for the story and setting than for the combat.

Act IV is AWESOME! One of the nicest settings in videogaming

I can see all the complaints and criticisms about the first Witcher, but that game just sucked me in. The graphics, while pretty ugly, did have a certain charm to them. The game definitely felt dated, but I actually kinda enjoyed the combat.

Awesome! Was trying to find out where to download the uncompressed version, thanks!

Bibbity-bobbity-boo!

Man, I need to start playing this game again. I probably have to start from the beginning though. I lost my save but it's been long enough that I've forgotten most everything about the game.

Yeah, unfortunately TW1's beginning is absolutely the worst part of the game, and it goes on forever. The game seriously picks up in the second half, but by that point far too many simply give up.

It certainly got better the more and more you played. The series is well known for that. The first few chapters just set everything up. I think people saw the combat and how it looked at the time and passed on it. The sequel was great, but it also did more in terms of graphics and game play.

The Witcher really was something special. I remember trying it once, something like six years ago, and having to resign myself to the fact that my laptop couldn't handle it. Even so, despite the terrible graphics, and my computer's atrocious performance, I remember being immersed like I hadn't been in a game since my

I'd like to think he resides on 1 Does Not Simply Lane.

The bastards are gonna pay for shooting up my ride!

yeah, the boycott is almost funny... Release it on a system we own or we won't buy it!...
