Oh, guess I misunderstood (which is easy since I'm so loaded with schoolwork!).

Ya know...I dig it. For a FPS, this kind of beat has a really good sense of depth, weight, and pace.

I was going to comment about how some of the things mentioned aren't necessarily issues, but this post basically sums up my thoughts, so as much as I hate doing it...

What I think really burns me about so many games these days is this specific desire that to improve or expand the medium, it must come at the expense of less interaction, or so control the experience as to make the player nothing more than a viewer.

Wish I had the time to make a real reply, but I ultimately agree.

I'll have to look out for Gone Home. I haven't heard of it till now.
