Aren’t that many Alien games out there. Almost all Aliens games.

It’s weird to go back and read his “Broken Halo” article on 1up. Dude actually used to know design. Seems like he’s forgotten, which is a bummer.
Those guns aren’t overpowered, they’re properly powered. They’re actually fun to use. Bungie’s been adding in a ton of guns that are far less fun to use instead of adding equally good guns.
...no. They’re mad because it sucks to have to re-buy an entire game and all of its previous expansions to get the new content and collector’s content.
Bungie refers to a lot of things as bugs that are design things, just because they go against Bungie’s intended stuff.
Why? We only have TWO six-man PVE events in the entire game, while we have NFs, Weeklies, nine different strikes, and four different PoEs in a single week.
I’m talking about this.
High Moon Studios: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive…
I’m referring to High Moon Studios, who Bungie recently thanked for their assistance on Destiny. Apparently there’s a partnership going forward, and High Moon is specifically working on missions. So I’m curious if this mission approach is due to High Moon making more traditional content or not.
High Moon is the one I was curious about. Apparently they’re working on mission design.
Yeah, it was very interesting and cinematic and unlike any other Destiny story mission. It carried on a lot of the lessons they seemed to have learned in House of Wolves. Instead of just running through corridors and deploying ghost to open doors, you’re on this new moon — Phobos — and as soon as you land, shit is…
Did I call for the erasure of sexual tension? Nah. I called for the erasure of fanservice.
That bums me out because it perpetuates the storytelling trope that women don’t have friends, just lovers. I liked that Harley and Ivy were friends. I can’t think of many cool female friendships in comics. So to me, romance kinda cheapens it, as weird as that sounds.
Necrochasm is Destiny’s most hated gun. No Land Beyond is a gun some pros use.
I had some friends who were working on this type of project back in 2012. It’s a pretty common concept, but nobody seems to have really executed it.
Don’t forget they can fall on the ground, explode, and cause errant grenades on the ground to explode as well.
A lot’s changed in three years. ;)
But Flood melee means that they push you away. You can’t get close or you risk exploding/getting a one-hit punch. With Elites and grunts, it’s fun to get up close and personal. That’s what I was referring to. The elites draw you in because they’re gooey exploding meatsacks. The Flood push you away because they’re…
It’s an interesting proposition, but I’m not sure I agree. For me, for instance, Halo Reach’s Heroic difficulty mode seems perfectly tuned for my skills as a player. Other people prefer to play it at the Legendary difficulty. Crysis’ Delta mode changed enemy dialog to Korean in order to make it harder to figure out…
They do. I noticed that in later games, they require infection forms to wake up.
