It's the mark of a skilled creator.

I'm playing Dying Light right now. I'm going to pitch a piece on it soon. Unfortunately, it's way too static to really be a survival game. Like, you may see A Spawn Of One Guy And A Zombie Attacking Him That You Can Kill, but it doesn't really matter. Items are even more plentiful in the game and don't really

came/saw/came again

wat?

You need to spend more time with it than ten minutes. Get to the Garbage.

Some of the stories the game's generated while I was trying to get screenshots:

it's my cheese

Yes, and? We know she had at least one conversation with the Darkness, ergo it is not entropy.

Not really, no, because the story's explicitly telling us things, rather than showing it to us, which is kinda an important part of good storytelling.

Producers can be kinda important for making a game work out well. Basically everything Raymond's worked on has been good.

Weird that he worked on three good games and also III. :(

I'm only reporting what Ubisoft themselves stated in a press release. I haven't gotten that far yet.

It's so weird. I barely touched it until I was most of the way through the game, then dove in and really started to get a feel for it. It was cool, but shallow in some respects. I think there should have been more to it.

As of my about 70% completion, you literally never meet his wife and apparently she left him at some point. There might have been a better motive, but so far, it's just "i want money"

that's literally the best face in the game

You should have kept playing; the point of the game is Ezio's maturation as a person. It's also why he's my favorite character in the series: he's the one who grows.

But the whole point was that Ezio basically re-founds the order and learns all of this stuff and the motivations for it. Rather than simply being told what to do, we learn the purpose and meaning of the creed through action.

Black Flag goes "what if you didn't WANT to be an Assassin," Rogue is about a Templar, and iirc, Unity goes from being an Assassin to rebelling against them.

Connor was right to be mad at people, but he just seemed to be so disinterested all the time. His dad seemed like he was voiced by a pro, Connor seemed like he was done by someone who was just reading lines.
