While it's an opinion I can respect... I mean... I watch films that are about things I don't necessarily like, but I don't deny they're great films. In a discussion about Yakuza and GTAV, I'm not really sure your question applies? Sorry, just had a massive pain attack and I can barely stand so my head's not totally

Here's some incomplete notes that I cut from the article when I decided to focus wholly on why RDR's sound was good.

I started on that article but ended up with this one instead. Don't really feel like writing more about RDR when I've just finished up ones on Bioshock, Half-Life, RDR, and am working on another one for next week. I have about... 19 articles in queue right now.

I didn't spend a LOT of time with GTAV, but I really didn't expect to find a Rockstar game I actually liked... found that kinda odd, and neat. Waiting for the PC Version now.

ahaha that's actually my bad. I hadn't had any pictures in the article, and I left that note saying I'd added them into the document. Will fix.

Same thing with Destiny. Plenty of games. Honestly, headphones are the best way to play games, imo, for immersion.

Would highly recommend checking out GTAV.

I tried to avoid talking about music, because, in my mind, a lot of people talk about music in relation to games, but actual sound design seems waaay rarer.

The game's overrated as fuck, imo. It's bad in so many respects. Just has killer sound design. Honestly think that just about every game that is highly rated that seems pretty bad based on metrics people use for other reviews... happens to be one with great sound design.

STALKER is another great game for just shutting up and listening to. Interestingly enough, I put on some headphones with Destiny and... was kinda amazed how much is actually going on there that my sound system doesn't pick up.

I was really worried my natural hate for the game would come through in the article. So much wrong, but sound design ends up being all that matters.

I enjoy filler in Bioware games, as long as the gameplay is good.

Well, since there's respect involved... I'll agree to disagree.

One of the best encounters in video games.

It does. I've played it several times now. Rockin' my Aspect of Glass too.

I'm okay with that, if they polish it up to Valve quality.

No it wasn't.

Awesome, is that person working on Xen now?

Lots of small changes. They fucked up Surface Tension, but I think they're rebuilding it (the guy working on it left or something, so it was unfinished and they cobbled it together for the release).

It can't have it. >:(
