I have never understood this supposed resistance to action heroines. Then again, I was like two and a half years old when I saw Princess Leia grab a blaster and declare that "Somebody has to save our skins!", so... I guess there just wasn't enough time for the idea to become alien to me.

I'm alla time GMing my tabletop games, so I play female characters quite often. I enjoy it; it's fun to create and play these females who aren't always the stereotypical genre lady. Back when I did get to play, I played dudes/chicks about 70/30. Just the way it worked out, really...but like I say, alla time, GMing.
