Except societies have risen and flourished without those principles as well. Not to mention that the majority of societies, even those that had those principles, have also crashed and burned.

Well, the current administration in the US should make it abundantly clear that there are a whole lot of people who care only about themselves and about those who give them tons of money.

Well, I guess you could stop taxing corporations and just tax the people more to make up for the difference while allowing corporations to just stockpile more and more money that will never be fed back into the economy...

I don’t need an argument to the contrary to not accept what you said as true. Again, not how the burden of proof works.

People already pay taxes. Why do they have to do it when they go to work, too?

There is a strong correlation between humans and anti-nuclear advocates. Neither side in particular is more against it that I am aware of.

The reason I want to tax religion is because there is literally no good reason not to. Nearly everything else has to pay taxes, why should they be exempt?

That... is not how the burden of proof works. You claimed they did. So, meet your burden of proof.

Nobody is saying “Stop using fossil fuels right this very instant and use something else” because, well, that is simply impossible. At the very least it would take a significant bit of time and funding to switch entirely away from fossil fuels and to (essentially) inexhaustible sources of power.

So, no freedoms at all, since religions tend to kinda, you know, actively work against that when they can?

Religious freedom is 100% a right granted by the system. If it were something given by their “Creator”, then every person of a different religion would have a different set of freedoms since their “Creators” all have different opinions on the matter.

Yeah, just ignore the ecological damages... they have only provided technological advancement.

I like to drink this “Prince of Peace Instant Ginger Tea with Honey” stuff I get from the asian market. It is a packet of crystals that melt in water. Tastes good, a bit spicy.

One would think that the past few decades, at the very least, would show that you will basically never get civil discourse from the right... that is fundamentally not how work.

They have my interest as a replacement for my aging Nexus 6 but I am going to need to see how they are in real life before I start thinking about buying.

I live in Texas and have for most of my life.
