A crash with damage like that will definitely have a good shot at destroying the communications hardware. It isn’t like they can store it in some indestructible box, wireless signals aren’t that good at, you know, passing through metal. Hell, all it would really need to destroy is the antenna, that should be enough to

The black box is where the data gets stored, the communication equipment isn’t a part of it. Considering what black boxes are generally made of... doesn’t really seem like a device that would build something like that in, since penetration of those materials by the wireless signal would be pretty abysmal at best.

You find it hard to believe that the device responsible for the data connection was destroyed even when seeing the wreckage of the car?

Chiropractic stuff boggles my mind. Do people not know one guy literally made it up as he went along? A quack, none the less? A guy who, before he made up chiropractic, practiced spiritual and magnetic healing?

Not really exclusive, it is on PC too.

I never actually played the game, but I worked at a Gamestop when it came out (amazing how much can change in a decade...) so I have the soundtrack for it floating around here somewhere. Always liked it.

I suspect some kind of software mimicking for it rather than it being actual HDR. Sounds like something Sony would do.

Screens are just funny that way. They are measured in inches basically everywhere for whatever reason, though I hear some companies are starting to use metric in their spec pages on websites depending upon the country.

HDR is mostly in “gimmick” status at the moment, precious few TV’s have it and there are competing standards for it I believe?

True, but those same consoles often don’t last the entire console generation without dying anyway. I would guess a pretty fair percentage of console owners end up buying more than one of them during their lifespan, so if you factor that in... you have more leeway since after 4-5 years a GPU upgrade can be both very

Yeah, I have heard they are great for people who don’t mind what they are for.

That works when I do it in Civilization V. I mean, until Gandhi nukes everyone... but that is fine, Gandhi is already dead in real life so we don’t have to worry about that.

The article title is precisely why MMO’s have pretty much nearly all been pure crap since WoW got popular. They used to be all about the ride to the end... now there is no ride anymore, just the endless grind at the end.

Simpsons called it.

This is the closest quote I can find to what you are saying, from back in 2011.

Ah, but I didn’t. I said I would take it as that. Not that you said that.

Going to take that as a “I can’t quote you because you didn’t say it. I put those words in your mouth.”

Really now?

Let me ask you. Did I say those words you said I did?

I don’t recall saying anything about anyone else, so maybe don’t put words in my mouth?
