There is AOSP and there is Google Android. Same base, different results. If they want to use Google Android, it comes with Google Apps. They are free to choose AOSP and make their own.

Upgrading the HDD connection to SATA3 (or better) would be a good improvement. As it stands, SATA2 can nearly be saturated by a modern, normal HDD.

Upscaled? Sure, that doesn’t take much extra. Actually rendering everything at 4k? Haha, fuck no.
