You can’t say where a car is without knowing where it has been.

You can’t google the ride characteristics of a W126 or the power delivery of a W220 5.5L V12

What do you know about industrial control systems? I give you a industrial control system, review it. You have no idea what the hell you’re looking at, how it

You’re under 21, you don’t know anything about German luxury vehicles, pedigree or context for the last 40 years of Mercedes luxury development.

Talk to me about the developments from the W114, through the W126 and into the W220 and modern series before I have faith you know anything about these cars.

Have you been able to own a VW successfully?

Shhhh, it’s a spy shot.....totally.....

The veil of journalism is thin enough around here as it is.

No, it will run a taguchi DOE and figure out the best method for that individual load of dishes.

Everyone in the industry knows the Viper is going away for only two years just like before. The new version will be launched at the 2020 Detroit autoshow. Mark my words.

I manufacture $1 parts for the auto industry. People don’t realize that those are some of the most technically complex parts to produce. Tooling costs are relatively high, equipment is expensive, profit margins are low and OE’s think of it mostly as an after thought.

A modern Mustang GT is Ferrari fast from only a decade or so back.

Do they really have engine problems? Do they have enough miles to have problems?

It would be interesting to compare their acceleration curves down the straight.

Also don’t ever try and sell anything on Craigslist, EVER.

That’s frankly hilarious.

I sit in on board meetings for a company with several hundred million dollars in annual revenue . We haggle shit out of every vendor we can and for good reason.

The whole world runs on haggling, you just may not see it.

No, it’s a bid process. If no one bids it’s a normal calculated rate.

Are you a communist?

I pulled an AHU apart with 220k that had been beat on hard with RC3+ tunes for over 60k miles. It still had the factory crosshatching. It did however have one broken compression ring.

New rods, upgraded euro pistons, new injectors, a K03/K04 hybrid and she has been running like a top for another 150k without issue.

Peopl

People don’t realize how tight the Viper is. It was designed around the V10 and the V10 alone. Also that would lead to a huge compromise is space/packaging. Imagine the Ferrari of today making a baby version of the 458 with say a 3 liter Alfa 3L v6 (made in Detroit BTW)

It simply would not work with the brand/brand

I talked with a few guys in with the Viper development. They said it was impossible to get the Viper down to Corvette pricing with the current architecture and demand. It’s a catch 22.

Because it’s going to cost those guys money in trade tariffs/taxes. It’s going to make the economics harder but free them from the political obligations.

You’re better off spending a little more on a new/slightly used ‘14 pick up.

Objectively I get what you’re saying, I could have a LS or similar for way less money. However there is a reason the motors command such a premium (I buy $100 junk yard 2 liter ABA motors for my race car), the parts are expensive and there are not that many out there in circulation.

They’re also an easy swap, so any
