You seem to still not understand what’s going on here. You need to not look at max figures, you need to look at the integral of work. The diesel is doing more work per stroke, it’s also producing a wider torque band. I’ve driven a NA 7.3 and a 460, their power delivery characteristics are different.

We have much better control of when the fuel charge enters the cylinder, thus we have much better control of the resulting emissions.

Back in the day (carbs and port injection) the crackle and pop was the engine running rich on the overrun. Now with direct injection that noise is precisely tailored by the manufacture

You are incorrect. A diesel has torque because of the stroke ratio and higher effect BMEP compared to a gas engine.

You’re trying to sound smart but you sound like a fool.

And how many million miles do race cars run every year?

If it’s anything like the Benz sport mode it’ll do almost nothing besides drop you down a gear and make the steering heavy.

The problem is they’re not priced like premium cars. When did you last see a BMW or Mercedes sitting on the dealer lot 20%+ UNDER sticker?

It’s not a premium brand if everyone gets a “sweet deal” on one.

That means you’ll see them on dealer lots for around 40-45k.

I pretty much view him as an older fatter Sterling Archer.

Every manufacture has a photog on call. They drop a call or a text and say be here. It’s all marketing. Don’t fail for the “Ooooo spy shots B.S.” It does nothing but insult both of us, looking at you Gawker.

You mean thrusters.

Get ready everybody! Let’s e30 jerk together now!

I flew from Detroit to Miami to save $4,000 on my 1 liter Fiesta.

There are two (really 3) types of performance Porsche guys. The first are the posers that just want to look cool. That trope is well established.

The 2nd and 3rd is where it gets interesting. On one side you have the guys with the money and desire to spend it on the track focused editions, because it was designed by

1 bar of soap PLZ.

Ugh, low effort. Try again.

$500 track rat is always the answer.

You shut your whore mouth. Take you 12 cylinders and get out of here.

That would normally result in an ass kicking or that vendor not getting any further orders from the community ever. In TDIClub we don’t fuck around. If you make bad parts we find out and make sure everyone knows until the end of time. Some people still won’t buy stuff from Kerma 5 years later after his garbage turbo

Unless the vendor is an automotive engineer or actually races (and wins) don’t trust a damn thing they say about suspension.

You’ll realize that paper means nothing. Drive an normal 6 Zylinder E30 and you’ll understand it’s not a numbers game.
