You can’t help but look like a knob driving one.

You seriously think they’d use straight water? Engineering 101 my friend.

What? The bike is not held together with bubble gum and tape. Why would the connectors be any more susceptible than those of a normal gasoline powered bike?

Barney 90’s Vomit?

My buddy asked me “Dude, I want to drive the WRX!”. I told him if he could get it out of the parking lot without stalling it he could go wild.

...He stalled it twice getting it out of the parking spot.

I’ll occasionally pull a ~1,500 lb trailer with it. On hills it sure is fun.

Put it in 4 Lo and just chug along, I thought this was common knowledge.

What were the emissions taxes to get it in the city?

He is getting tricky.

It needs to be under 10k but also faster than other Japanese cars costing up to 15k.

Do any modern vans have proper captains chairs in the 2nd row? I’ve tried out most the major manufactures and they all seem like they’re sized, padded and designed for kids. The conversion van chairs of old were designed for real adults in them for hours on end.

Excuse me. The clutch in my Mk2 lasted 410k miles, the clutch in my Mk3 lasted 330k before I sold it and the clutch in my WRX which I beat like a filthy animal is holding strong a 230k.

There is a reason I get so many miles out of the clutch. I don’t slip it unnecessarily like a knob in traffic.

If you go to Europe

I simply mean minimize clutch slip. That’s the major point of keeping the car rolling if very slowly. My WRX, unlike my diesels, has no torque off the line.

That A pillar looks massive.

I’ve driven over 2 million miles including heavy traffic all over the country. I have had great luck with that technique. Work on your timing, it works remarkably well.

You don’t move in a manual like you move in an automatic. Don’t try and mimic those mannerisms unless you have to keep the gap tight.

Wait 4 car lengths then let the clutch out quick. If you get the rhythm right you can keep your car moving slowly while the traffic around you stops.

If you can figure it out get behind

I did not know you could swap a ‘Busa motor without nitrous.

Fire hazard??

Bring coil packs.

This is going to destroy your back. Just take a nice mountain bike.

My myriad of VW diesels would disagree. With clutch is light, it’s very easy to get moving off the line and will chug along at idle speeds slower than automatic creep.

VW Diesel (especially a ALH/AHU) SUPER EASY
Fiesta 1 Liter EASY
