What was the advantage of the heavy 3 cylinder vs a re camed CBR 600 motor?
Ecoboost 1 Liter swap, that motor makes 168 HP with very minor massaging. If it's near the target of 1,250 lbs you have 7.4 lbs per HP which is CTS-V power to weight territory.
How are you going to afford to fit a new ~$500 turbo in a sub 7k dollar car?
I would say you're looking at around 50-60 horsepower.
My whole Polish family fit in an original Fiat 500, you don't need a bigger car than a Fit for you family of 2 kids, you simply want a larger car for convince.
That's a problem?
Michigan was completely neglected.
I've been telling people this since they came out! The styling refresh makes them looks less commercial which opens up the appeal.
Because if you're parked on a street you've got 13 whole HP to get you moving on the road. It's nice to be able to look back and see if a car is coming. My W115 takes about 22 seconds 0-60 with tons of glass so you can see better than any modern car, it's nice to have mirrors in the city.
You're not bothered by the lack of mirrors?
Right, you can't design consumer products, or even military products for the 99.9% percentile. People will be dumb, people will make mistakes that get them killed. That's parts of the risk that goes into operating any piece of large equipment.
The hood engine top end?
What the?
How dare I get a real manifold pressure gauge. It goes from 0 to +, that's about as useful as telling me boost? Y/N?
The instagram filter? Really??
On the cool morning I still giggle. I don't know how but it makes more turbo noise than a diesel truck. It's still run to the stock airbox.
You've never heard intake noise on an NA motor? On my WRX I get absurd turbo noise from just pulling the fender silencer out.
Oh My God, getting out of my 1.9 million dollar hyper car is soooo difficult, my life is insufferable.
Remember when drivers were athletes?
There are tracks all over the country, it's as equally ridiculous on the street as a Gumpert Apollo or a V8 Atom. If anything the hybrid system will make it better behaved on the street because you're not sitting on a 1200 hp turbo light switch.
No, that's what's required to make 1,500 HP for hours on end with 75 year old technology and go to war reliability.
This is not besting the last car by a few mph this is kicking down the door with a shotgun.
