Eh, I've been snubbed at a Mercedes dealership. I showed up in my '76 W1115 in nice office slacks and a polo to pick up parts for the W115. I poked around a bit, but trying to get someone to talk to me about a Certified used E class was like pulling teeth. I was 24 at the time with a full beard.

Better not have any loose pocket change!

A Yukon with an aftermarket supercharger puts it way outside the GM design specifications, that's not a 100k mile option therefor invalid in my (subjective) book. The interior in the Porsche is significantly better and it rides better than any truck I've driven. Did you use the adaptive suspension in the GTS? I've

I had this same issue with a 458. I could get it into gear and neutral but it would never go into park. The clutch is hydraulic so it disengages when the engine is not running. Turns out after reading most of the 300 page manual with it rumbling away you just shut it off in any gear, it automatically selects first and

Crawl Lo Range I imagine.

That's the classic logic flaw. Your part is small but collectively we make a real impact. I realize automotive emissions are small potatoes to say transoceanic shipping emissions but reduce and conserve what you have control over.

Some of us have jobs, if not we'd be fixing it ourself.

if you don't like the Cayenne you've not driven one. The GTS and Turbo are phenomenal to drive.

This car had cleaner emissions that stock, but it did not come like that originally so I'll make it pollute more so it's original. Great logic there buddy.

People buy cars because they want something reliable, stylish and enjoyable. After several years (maybe 7) that car starts checking less and less of those boxes. Old cars can run a very long time but so many people it's not just about getting around in a vehicle, so many other things are attached to it.

If you drive

I've driven some of the highest end cars on the market and they still have issues. I've not tried the VW system. The Cayenne, Macan, G Wagen, Range Rover and Bently GT all had issues with the camera systems in the snow.

It's only the new Fords which don't have them in the US. It's super dangerous. 9/10 (I counted) of the cars without headlights on at dusk last night were new Fords.

Have you used modern back up cameras in the snow? They easily get frosted over and covered with slush. The same thing is going to happen to a mirror camera. A simple glass mirror has enough surface area that you can see through a bit of accumulation.

Your car running without a CAT is ~1000x worse for the environment than with modern emissions systems.

Is it a Mercedes? Is it a G Wagen? Is it a special edition?

This one just hauls the liquor, the 6X6 haul the ass.

When I have a passenger in the car that's how I drove them up to the ATM. After business hours obviously.

The LLV weights 2700 lbs ready to go down the road. Now add 1,800 lbs for race car and 400 for a dolly and 200 for a driver. Total vehicle weight is 5100 lbs with a sub 100 HP motor. That's just not going to work.

That 5100 lbs is not carrying anything at all in the truck..

First of all I've driven a 2011 DB9 and was not terribly impressed compared to the 911s, 360s and 458s I've driven. A DB9 is a $80k car, expensive but not any more than what I've got into all the hobbies listed above. Saying that image means nothing to you is ridiculous. You know there are better GT cars for the same
