It's a frikkin laser, it has better beam definition and cutoff than anything else you've ever seen on the road.

I understand what's practical. Most days I drive my TDI with 330k on the clock. It's cheap, simple and reliable. I don't see the point of trying to impress people at work. The WRX is practical for the Michigan snow and the CBR is for fun when I'm not in my track car.
You're spending all this money and huge insurance…
Are these really that much smaller than a VW UP! or a Fiat 500 on the inside? This as an EV which does not look super weird would be great. My only complaint about the i3 (besides range) is how large the thing actually is.
I have a CBR for the weekends. I don't need to roll around in a 300 HP wagon (I have a WRX wagon pushing 300) going to work every day. It's efficiency and design are the hallmarks of a more refined, less machismo man.
You could have a turbo 600cc run just fine in the US. Under 1600 lbs and ~ 70 hp would be just fine. It won't be worse than a Prius C. Lbs per HP the kei is actually more powerful.
You're not maintaining them correctly them. I'm worked on 30+ year old cars with near perfect leather. Chemicals from the auto parts store simply won't cut it.
How would you actually use the netting?
Looks like a Corrado got in a knife fight.
Why not just rent a f 150 when you need to move something like that.
So you can't make objective reviews based on what normal people want and drive. This is the whole issue with the automotive press.
I think I'm pretty much done with 90's German cars.
I did some looking, every 997 I could find was around 50k (not that bad in my opinion) but I was surprised that the Cayman in the same year range (2011+) was only 10k or less below the 997. I don't know if that makes the 997 or the Cayman the better deal.
So it's time for a new car!
Drive a Fiesta 1 liter EcoBoost. It's phenomenal, it's like driving my diesel with less off idle punch. You can tune them from 125 hp (max torque from ~1600 rpm) to 160 hp with very slight modifications. I think that's the best small car in the U.S. right now. They are around 15k with a couple options.
Aveo is down a whole class from the Sonic. An Aveo is on par with a Mirage.
I actually drive an old TDI Jetta and a WRX wagon. I simply find your suggested comparison offensive. I have driven a fair selection of 911's and every gen Miata over the last 10 years.
Because I'd like to hit 60 mph coming out of a hairpin before reaching the state line. Have you driven both? Putting a 911 and a Miata in the same sentence deserves a swift hit to the nuts.
How much maintenance does a 10 year old fuel injection system need? Maybe a MAF and a fuel filter if you're going maintenance crazy. In that time a carb would have fallen to bits.
Why not a slightly used NA 911 that's had it's value fall in 1/2 over the last 2 years?
Have you driven other cars? As in at any point in your life? I know you own one but they are woeful . I'd rather own a Versa, that's how much I dislike them.
