I've driven the whole western US top to bottom in my 90 hp '98 Jetta diesel. I have some slight modifications so say I'm making 100 hp. It's plenty of power, if you're running out of go that means your planning is poor. I also have a CBR, infinite power makes you get lazy and drive with much less planning.

Were you going 72 in the left lane?

People don't understand that innovation costs money. If you're making money you're not putting enough back in R&D.

It's interesting how GM and BMW came up with very similar shapes. When aero rules the design criteria cars start to look very similar.

I think you severely underestimate the capability of modern trucks. With equal (non highway cruiser) tires any modern truck would do this in a heartbeat.

Are you kidding me? Detroit is a perfect city for a bike, it's far better than other local cities like Ann Arbor or Grand Rapids on the west side of the state. I know a dozen or so people who use their bike as their single mode of transportation around Detroit in the summer.

But not from the field to Starbux and back home. NO SALE!

If they were serious they would pull the engine and run it on a engine dyno. Dyno time runs north of 30k per week at a place like McLaren Performance Technologies. They sure sell enough cookie cutter $500 tunes. #Not a fan of APR tunes

Several times more?? Try 120+ times more. A locomotive like that is north of 420,000 pounds. It carries 40,000 lbs in fuel alone.

It's the long focal length of the lens, it makes things look closer than they are in real life.

This extra 12 horsepower will save me!

I saw one in the dealer when I was test driving an i3, Maybe it was a 328d. Website says those are X drive only. Oh well.

I worked in an OEM dyno lab, it is absolutely a science with very little art involved. You only hear the art claim because tuners without power train engineering degrees are getting wild statistical variations and don't know how or can't control their cells.

I die a little inside every time someone calls it an art.

You want the wrath of the Chrysler Sebring???

The 535d is a RWD wagon, no manual sadly.

Those DOT lights ruin everything.

Have you driven the AMG series S class?? If you want more noise that's an easy fix too.

Fiesta ST wants to talk with you. The Fiesta is the same size as my old Mk3 Golf GTI (2.Slo Sadness).

12 miles of electric range!***

That's already the law in the U.S. buddy...
