There are still sooooooooo x10^6 many little simple things they could do to improve the experience and make it more efficient.

I think this is a baaaaaaaaaaad concept. Towers are a relatively controlled (no pun intended) environment. Workers know their shifts, stay on duty etc. And they have backup power systems at the larger towers.

This is great, thanks.

Oh, well at least it's only the *wings*.

As Adam said below, isnt this the iOS 6 sign we saw last week?

The above article of 11 things not to post on facebook presupposes that there is anything, of any merit whatsoever, ever posted on FB. That supposition is dubious at best.

Turns out it is Utica Michigan. Who knew!

Oops, Giz, this is Utica MICHIGAN (not Florida, not NY).

As noted below I prefer the 6-cube variant of this tray. However, I still use the tray above sometimes, and I have zero problems emptying it. Turn over tray, push thumb in center of cube to be ejected. A quadriplegic monkey could do it.

Florida really needs to be divided into 2 states.

once you get the knack of popping them out, i think youll be very happy with these cube trays and the big cubes

amazon is where i get mine

Amazon. Get at least 3 trays so that you can make enough big cubes in advance of a gathering. Youll learn quickly how to pop the blocks out easily.

yes they do, have been around for a long time; i never found them to be very good at cooling drinks (google 'reusable ice cubes')

At first yes, but once you realize all one needs to do is push the center bottom with thumb and pull the sides back, it's easy-peasy. Guests always comment (positively) on the big block cubes too.

It melts a lot slower, = less drink dilution. Just need one per glass.

I actually prefer the silicone version that makes 6 really big blocks of ice (vs 15 as in the tray above). Once you use the big blocks of ice you never want to go back to the puny cubes that are so common.

ours would have sunk half mile out from the coast (the coast it departed from that is)

one has to marvel at how meticulous the Japanese are, labeling virtually everything (including this giant dock which had its owner address and phone number labeled on it)

yes it is; i could sublet my 450 sqft studio apt for $2500/mo or sell it for 380-400
