Boy, someone evidently got up on the wrong side of the bed lol. What's wrong mr. grumpypants?

Meh. I thought they were EVs and just had really long cords.

Well it's refreshing to read up to the moment stuff, and not hear/read things like one does on major networks like (as a real example) "Reports are coming in that a Boeing Airbus has crashed..."

definitely not a good friday for a bunch of folks

yeah but it was removed from app store after pissing too many people off

yes, and quite well; my grandfather lived to 94 with only part of one kidney after a childhood accident; one can also live with no kidneys, of course dialysis would be required; kidneys are remarkably capable of compensating for loss of function (the liver shares this characteristic as well)

It begs the question, if he still has "kidneys," yet gave one up, how many did he start out with? Or maybe I need to dig out and dust off my med school anatomy notes.

Indeed!

Nah, I think Tom is merely overcompensating b/c of his guilty pleasure in being dominated by Sven in the boathouse.

The fuel was not removed. The CG said it was "far too dangerous" to try and get anyone on board to do so, even though to me it looked like anyone could have simply stepped from the CG ship to the ghost ship when they were side by side on those calm waters.

TeGimpt, not a FB user here, but living in NYC I see people every day checking-in/updating at what I think are "odd" places - e.g., a CVS checkout lane (of course, instead of getting their money out to pay, thus holding everyone up), at the gym on a treadmill, etc.

Most of these apps seem to pertain to twitter users and the legions of facebook sheeplebots.

Lulz yes I believe it is rather old hat about the front porch, although perhaps the funniest (and scariest!) thing about several of the SNL skits was that the dialogue was often almost word for word verbatim from Palin.

@haightg, that will fall on (very) deaf ears...I have tried literally (and heroically) for years to inform tech blog folks (Giz, Engadget, BGR, etc.) to use the terms patent and patent application correctly, but they (almost) never do (Engadget is slowly improving);

Just wait a few years til' neanderthals start wearing/using these things whilst driving. You know they will.

And I guess it's safe to assume that the team above was notified of the suspicious ghost boat by Sarah Palin who spotted the boat whilst diligently monitoring Russia for nefarious activity from her front porch.

Based on the looks of that ship, are we *sure* it's not part of the Iranian Navy?

That "boom" we all just heard was Dick Santorum's head exploding while reading this article.

Yeah, the article further down seems to hypothesize a maximum wave height of approx. 100 ft, so perhaps a super rogue wave could reach 500ft +/- (?).

You have a good point, but from the perspective of a Manhattanite, the openness is quite striking at first impression. I think I need to look for a country house to spend weekends at lol.
