Man, SonicFox was a fantastic sport about it as well.  Cheered him on and everything after the match.  That’s the kind of sportsmanship we need in all big tournaments!

I’m enjoying the game so far, but I’ll agree that the marketing for the game set up an expectation for a much more absurd experience than we got. I’m digging the colorful Mad Max kinda vibe, but it’s a far cry from the idea of Mad Max if it was written by Hunter S Thompson and directed by James Gunn that the marketing

Mr. Syphinx, if you only knew how ridiculous that statement is you wouldn’t have said it.

...No.

All of the demographic research suggests otherwise, most famously with this 2013 survey on the political leanings of fans of various sports, which Business Insider covered:

The character development of Johnny Cage has been fantastic.

I’m not super old or anything, but I REALLY don’t get the appeal of creating content like this, or participating in it.

He was initially charged with reckless driving but after review it was determined the guy wasn’t set and the call was reversed.

So like... how many maps are there? How many game types are available in multiplayer? How’s the matchmaking UI? How many guns? Are the guns locked behind personal level and/or challenges of some sort? What is the tick rate of the servers? Do you have the option of choosing a server? How many classes are there? What

I do not understand why anyone uses twitter.  That is all.

I want to just randomly give this company money now.

One of the best things about being in my 40s is having no clue who these people are.

He was free to express himself. And he was free to get his ass kicked. The system still works.

Grace has received an “angry and aggressive” phone call from someone recently who called him a “gay slur”

I feel bad for all the honest hard working writers at IGN in all this, it seems like in some circles they’re being found guilty by association. Good for Jason and Kotaku that they’re fairly reporting IGN’s response and reaction when discussing this story.

Woof. I mean the dude’s career already was buried, but this response — never apologizing to the guy he stole from, Streisanding his FIFA review while attacking an actual journalist for “needing clicks” even though he works for a site whose traffic runs laps around his — is like pouring concrete on top. Filip, I know

Every time I’ve tried to slurp, I’ve caused a mess. Something about the way I do the deed causes the noodle to ‘flick’ as you get to the end of it, which inevitably causes little drips of broth to go everywhere... including the inevitable splatter on my glasses, which then requires me to stop eating and clean the
