This reminds me of the method of stealing bikes where you chain up an already locked bike and then return in the middle of the night to cut through the owner’s lock and remove your own lock, assuming they have abandoned it.  There are probably similar schemes involving disabling cars.

To be fair though, the LS400 has a wonderfully smooth ride, quiet interior, and (the first gen.) was designed to do 151, not 140, like he says in the video. The well-optioned ones have an air suspension that will lower at these speeds. Not defending the dingus, but it is a pretty sweet highway cruise missile.
