@ME-4 12: If the distance of the ones off the water is about 10-15 feet. Those are some BIG birds. probably 20lbs or more. Biggest ones I have shot are around 15-18 lbs
@ME-4 12: Jesus, the geese are huge!! I hunt them in south western Minnesota at Lake Lac Qui Parle. I have seen some big ones there. But those in the back ground are monsters. No wonder they needed the big guns. Hell a 3 1/2 in 12 gauge barely dents them now a days.
