Personally I find the whole Blunt weapon situation rather interesting, they explain why beam weaponry is pretty much obsolete due to the large scale war 100+ years prior vs huge A.I controlled mobile armours using heavy beam weapons, to which they had developed “nanolaminate armour coating (NLA)” to basically negate

I always thought it was bih-doof. Still think that’s funnier.

Me, a Geno stan:

I just said basically this a few comments above this one. There is no comparison when we’re talking internet of the 90s vs today. Even up to 2010ish we didn’t have nearly the access to info we have now. I think in 2007 I was still burning CDs, using limewire and myspace, and wikipedia either didn’t exist yet or was in

Yeah, Google certainly existed back then, but it had a hell of a lot less stuff to find than it does now. Wikipedia was still two years away from launching, let alone being a major source of information, and more often than not your best bets for a lot of smaller topics (which this certainly counts as) were paid

Ehhhhh, we weren’t walking around with hand held little phone computers. When I used the internet at my parents house I had to wait for the crackly old dial up to happen, and I certainly didn’t have it on my laptop at college - I had to go to the computer library, which I did a handful of times a week to check my

Oh man, you didn’t check in to see how this insane stretch of a nothing-burger was getting roasted over at The Root? Cause it’s getting no traction there, and it feels like their readership should know.

Yeah, that’s what everyone said about Melee, until picking Zelda was just a means to play as Sheik for 100% of every match.

...that teaser was just a masterpiece. Looking fully like a standard Japanese RPG trailer riiiiiiight up until the twist, even doing the “overwrought narration as characters mouth silently to dialog” thing that you always see (...because, well, the trailer needs to be localized and that’s easier).

they’ve donated to countless charities over the past decade across the board. after GME they donated wells to africa and now over 947 water projects are being completed there because of it. Children are being flown around the globe so that they can have their heart surgery and cancer treatments covered by WSB

It’s 2 things.

Maximum Carnage hits a nostalgia sweet spot for me though I think even if I try and set that aside I’d rate it a little higher.

I do note that the list is missing all the Game Boy games - none are standouts that really need to be discussed but the list is lacking.

Maximum Carnage is too low, Spider-Man 2 is too high, Web of Shadows is just right.

Last I checked, our military budget is literally bigger than the military budgets of the next eleven highest spending countries COMBINED.

This just in: a crime isn’t a crime if the Other does something worse. Film at eleven.

Fuck the United States armed services. I get that the rank and file don’t want to answer for war crimes but these canned responses are disgusting, particularly in how they try to re-position those questions as attacks on them. Our army is massive and massively overfunded, they have no place playing the victim in that

Actually, Heatran’s one of the more dangerous Legendaries in PvP. That and Therian Forme Landrous.

Remember when we thought this would be over by summer? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

I’m sorry, the perp used a knife?

An estimated 33,000 Japanese Americans served in the U.S. military during World War II, of which 20,000 joined the Army. The 100th/442nd Infantry Regiment became the most decorated unit in U.S. military history.
