I watched the trailer with the biggest smile on my face. I just couldn’t process what I was watching. I don’t think it’ll be good in the traditional sense of a good film... but I think I’m going to enjoy the acid trip and the crazy moment in time that this movie exists. I can’t wait to watch it!

Dude, I just had a thought... when Trump finally is no longer President... I’m kind of scared at the top secret information and private matters he will just tweet out with no regard for national security. He might actually still be a threat to the country long after he leaves office. That’s scary.

Honestly, I like long term limits but I also feel like someone who is generations divided from modern Americans shouldn’t be making decisions that effect us until they are well past the retiring age.

I left Destiny right before the Taken King DLC came out. My friends and I had a team that grinded the game regularly and did the hardest challenges we could find (like my favorite - Quodron before the nerf). But the bad choices in Destiny 1 really killed their love of the game and no matter what I did, I couldn’t get

Gonna go out and buy some guides before they disappear :’(

Fantastic interview. I learned quite a bit and got some great insight. Thank you.

I’m Californian, but I took Beto’s loss pretty hard. I’m glad things weren’t a complete disaster and there is good opportunities for 2020. I hope Beto has a bright future ahead in nationwide politics. He, Gillum, and Abrams are the kind of candidates we need at that level.

Trump endorsing Pelosi for speaker is all the more reason we need a new leader for the Democrats in the House. She’s not so bad and is a fighter, but she’s out of touch with politics as they are now. We need younger people in politics, not all of these 70+ folks who should have retired years ago.

Wild Arms... wow. That takes me back. It was my first 3D game and one of the trippiest games I have ever played. It makes me a little sad that games like that can never exist in this triple A dominated video game world.

I swear I’ve told people this same thing, that colonialism/imperialism is responsible for modern migrant crises and the flow of immigration largely to western countries and people look at me like I drank crazy juice. They don’t see the connection.

To be clear though, I agreed with your take more than others. At least you are blaming everyone and not inciting sides. I replied to your comment because it addressed the issue as a whole. My comment was more directed at people lobbing blame back and forth between sides. It’s so meaningless at this point.

Honestly, the way people on Kinja keep going back and forth about blaming Clinton, blaming Bernie, blaming Jill Stein, blaming non-voters, etc, is just really setting up another 2016. Blaming others might make some people feel a sense of cathartic relief or satisfaction that they were right, but it’s just creating

I was half-way through the article when I realized that this was a Michael Harriot article. Didn’t need to look at the byline. I can just feel it when I’m reading one of those. There’s this delicious snark and palpable passion in the writing. Good stuff, man.

I would say that it is a western tendency to mystify Native Americans, Asians, and other cultures into this idea that they are more natural or harmonious or magical or whatever the trope is. People are people. Native Americans may have seemed more in tune with nature because they didn’t have the same technology as

Man, I don’t believe in God. But if all of these people willfully doing bad things to these kids got struck down by a God who replied with, “F*** ‘em”, I’d convert on the spot.

Wow. Making that kind of accusation. Almost feels like he’s projecting. You know, like a kid who farts and then later blames it on someone else.

One of the scariest things I read a few months back was the idea that this period of freedom, democracy, civil justice, equality, “peace”, etc that we have been experiencing and progressively moving toward is actually just an exception to the normal order of the world.

Did Palin just have the awareness to make a comment that was a pun(?) on her own ignorant comments about “seeing Russia from her house”? I’m actually kind of impressed that she was able to make such a self-aware comment in jest.

On the topic of Sri Lanka, while I was living there, I was able to see a doctor immediately and paid a couple bucks for my pills. My grandparents are able to get cataract surgery for two hundred or so dollars, whereas here, it’s going to cost a thousand something for my mother to get the procedure done, with

My friend can finally stop being “Soular Eclipse”, the most middle school name I’ve ever heard.
