I grew up in the rural South where basically everyone drove nothing but big trucks. I can assure you that of those who drove them, about 75% of them never used them for real work of any kind save for maybe hauling the family off camping or something. It was almost entirely all about the image and really no different

My entire family rides, probably a direct result of my dad being one of those boomers who used a motorcycle as actual transportation. I ride to work basically every day, as does one of my brothers, and we've all racked up thousands of miles on the bikes in this photo.

Let me explain why this isn't funny: Argentinians, at the time were living in an oppressive military coup, and it forced a huge amount of 18 year olds to work as military, and when the war started, those 18 year olds had to go as well. Think about it, you're 18, you just finished high school, you have to do forced

They're really not all that scary or dangerous, promise. Rent a scooter next time you're on vacation somewhere and you'll see that.

The boy and I argue over deep dish pizza. We live in Chicago, you see. He's from Central Illinois and I'm from California, so I was not raised with the pizza they make at Giordano's or Uno's or Lou Malnati's and I think it's just too heavy, but he thinks it's great. I genuinely hate Giordano's. Like, with a passion.

I'm sure covered in cheese, pasta and meat it might taste ok, but lasagna would be better without it. Just like society and Prius drivers.

Ummmm.... Let us never forget the ultimate representation of vulgarity. .. I actually just puked a little bit.

Fortunately, you have that option.

No Youabian Puma? No care.
