Don't you guys get a government subsidy of maple syrup for every citizen, though? I mean, it's a good trade off.

$3,500 for legal fees, yet they didn't get good contracts written up?

Game Designers: $73,864

You expect me to use Twitter!?!

From what I've seen and heard, it's a really robust system. "Scripting" feels too lite for what I've had shown to me by a friend.

Pixel art is a pretty specific technique. We need someone who's well versed in designing and animating in pixely goodness.

Totally agree. I'm really hoping to harbor that middle ground, as I push forward. Just really bloody hard to get the ball rolling, when it doesn't rely entirely on myself.

Yes and no, respectively. Though my mathematical education was stunted by teachers punishing me for finishing my math too fast, so they didn't know what to do with me. So to not get punished, I just stopped trying to learn. :P

That sucks. I have a really hard time with numbers, though I didn't used to way back when. I've got a very basic grasp on programming. Enough to be able to talk with programmers about what needs to happen. Hopefully I'll be able to get a better grasp on it, but my ADD is very controlling over what I'm able to do day

S'things like that is why I want to do work in the indie field, rather than the "AAA industry". Passion and talent created the games that helped launch the "AAA industry", but its become too much business, and not enough about the creative and inventive aspects of game development.

Haha. I'm the lead designer, and writer. So that would be doubling on up on what needs to be a slim team.

Right, right. Makes sense now. I was just only getting part of the picture at first.

The way you put it, it just made it sound like the concept wasn't actually 'there', in my head. Which sounds crazy. :P

Well that sounds just awful. What sort of creative lead doesn't hold meetings to make sure the right things are being worked on? O.o Money is just wasted by making you do work that doesn't need to be done.

I'm not sure I understand. You give details to people to write GDDs, for projects you work on? What position is that? That also sounds like it would be a horribly complicated way to make a game. :P

Well, my GDD 1 pager, and full doc (which is at like, 33 pages, and still not complete), grab a lot of people's attention. Everyone who's seen it has loved the idea, and been interested in working on the project.

Ahh, man. I love seeing other people's design docs! Especially for games I love. They're a bitch to write for me, because there's not real 'standard' for how they should be formatted/written, which fucks with my brain. D:

Right. I just never really cared, I guess? Not on me to define people. A screen name can just be a screen name. *shrug*

I haven't seen you in forever, it seems. Though I've been pretty absent as of late.

Ya know, I guess I just never really made the furry connection with your name. Just felt 'internety' to me.
