Developers have an obligation to thoroughly test all settings such that they are at least stable on most systems

I've played the game first without the 'mod', for a bit over three hours. With a good machine, that hasn't hit a game that it can't run at full settings just fine. I was having performance issues in the 'stock' version. It felt a bit like a memory leak.
