When I read this I was like

9 is so criminally underrated. Kinda had the Wind Waker effect of turning people off, but I thought it was one of the most gorgeous and inspired designs in the franchise, especially coming after the mundane world of 8.

I would be happy if they just redo the 3d models and use the original backgrounds unscalled and uncompressed. They still hold up quite well.
