I agree on all points. I can just see internal biases being confirmed and used as "I told you so" by moneyed folk. I don't think they're terrible people out to get anyone, just flawed people who fall into the human trap of enjoying being right (even when they're not).

The thing I like about this Smash compared to others is that you dont need to memorize as much fidgety bullshit (like l-canceling) just to compete. Melee is fun casually, but that competetive scene requires robot-like excecution just to move around the stage without being wide open.

Yeah, no single mon is going to serve every capturing purpose. Gallade can have issues with ghost types, for instance. Better than Gallade is Smeargle, but it takes a LOT of effort to get Smeargle good for capturing, and I'm not sure Smeargle is in ORAS, whereas Ralts is available very early on.
